there is a reason these are so cheap. The ads are annoying and the way it is set up is frustrating to those who have litttle technical knowledge. I bought one for my husband and he gave it to me because it was too complicated. I is easy to sideload the google play store but you should not have to. Amazon stuff is just garbage.

I bought this to operate an automated fish tank monitoring system and returned it due to it being unreliable, slow, and it’s lack of functionality.

I was just looking for something simple to watch movies, TV etc on. This thing was Amazon through and through...it was like you couldnt do anything unless you paid Amazon to use it. Tried to download a FREE solitaire game and Amazon kept popping up asking for my credit card. So it was returned.

I HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO LEARN HOW TO USE THIS YET, BUT THE REASON I GOT IT WORKS WELL

I have now purchased 5 of these Fire tablets. 4 of them work as they originally did (though the oldest has a very short battery life now). The most recent one purchased was bought in December. The screen stopped working in April. The warranty is only good for 90 days so I am out of luck. I am a bit disappointed that the warranty only lasted 90 days. I would expect 6 months or a 1 year warranty at this price. I am sure some would argue that i should have purchased the extended warranty but I feel that Amazon's Quality control should be worth at least 6 months of use!! This hardly seems acceptable for the price that I paid.

Couldn't get the Youtube app, and a few other games that are on android devices.

Bought as a gift for my 8year old grandson and he loves it. No problems.

It meets expectations. Capable and convenient. Probably would not buy again.

I'll preface this with - I don't own an iPhone, so operating this was not easy. Difficult to open up - seems like they want to sell apps. The Netflix app did not wow. Couldn't find how to set the lighting or closed caption options. All in all, I decided to go with a Samsung tablet. It's great.
