This tablet is a good price but it does have its drawbacks for sure. I didn't know it came with ads built into the first screen you see everytime you go to use it you have to swipe for the ads to go away. That is kinda annoying but you get over it. The other things I Noticed that I didn't like was the fact it seems to be a little slow when comes to its processing power so it can be a little laggy sometimes. Also the inability to use certain Google applications like Google play store is a big let down when it came to how I used this device. This will be my last Amazon tablet due to just that fact alone. I will be purchasing a new one when the time comes. it's going to be to one that must use Google Play Store for sure. Other than that it's a basic beginner tablet if you're a die hard Amazon user.

Good deal for the money. Alexa and SD card expandable

Solid little tablet. I got this version because I just need a tablet my parents could use for messaging with the grand kids, and that can run things like You Tube. This version had some extra ram in it so it will have more longevity then the cheaper model.

A Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She loves it.

It is most of the time slow and unresponsive. Not enough memory to be a mainstream tablet. And I only used to read, stream and internet browsing not even playing games. If you are looking for something for mainstream I would not recommend this tablet.

Very user friendly. Nice as a reader. I would have given 5 stars but my main purpose was to use the touch screen to record myself teachIng math. However, I did not know that Amazon and Google are not compatible and my school uses all Chrome. I have given it to a woman who lives alone.

I bought this tablet for my 5 year old daughter as she loves to watch her youtube kid channels and play her games and it has plenty of parental controls just for that which was a must and had me sold. I would highly recommend if your on a budget and still want a great quality and fast tablet.

As an owner of an older Amazon Fire HD, I've been hesitant to upgrade. Finally got the latest Fire HD 8 and wow, it's bluetooth functions perfectly and connects with ease to the Powerbeats3 wireless earbuds. Sure makes for listening to audiobooks pretty easy and inviting.
