Bought for my oldest son, best quality for the paid price, a bit slow but nothing to complain about

Simple and easy for kids to navigate. Lightweight and slim features are great in a diaper bag or small bag on the go.

My old 1st generation unit still works but has a few hiccups. So this 8th generation unit is huge improvement and cheap.

Great little tablet at a price so low I was afraid it would not work well, but it has met and exceeded my expectations.

This product is fairly new yet so let time determine how well it holds up. Being someone who is not "tech savvy" regarding PDA devices, I am still learning how to get the full use from this device. Primarily I got this product to read books. I was able to connect to two of our local libraries and with the proper apps, download books free of charge. Only problem (not because of any fault of the device) the selection of the type of books I read (non-fiction) is limited. Totally satisfied with the product.

Love this tablet for my grandson to play games and learn with. It’s also a step up from his 7”tablet.

I play solitaire and read books on it. I absolutely love reading now that I have this Amazon - Fire HD 8.

My son has an older Kindle Fire kid's edition that he's been playing with for 4 years now. It was good, but we didn't have the option for additional storage with it and he filled it up pretty quickly. I love that this one comes with that option. The response time on it is great which was an issue with his older tablet. He's been using it daily since we purchased it for reading, learning activities, or playing games.

I had a much more expensive tablet but thought I would give the Amazon Fire a try. Oh my goodness! It is wonderful! It has the speed and definition I was seeking. It is very responsive and holds a charge the majority of the day when in constant use. I did search around to find instructions online so I could download apps from the Google Play Store. Once I followed those instructions, the Fire was just the same as my old tablet--actually better!

It is easy to use. Has many features, including sound. Great for the older generation, very light weight.

Was a Christmas gift. So far so good. Only thing is wanted to delete some of the apps that he won’t use and since they are supported by amazon you do not have the option to delete so it crowds the screen with apps he will never use. Also, an inconvenience that Best Buy charges a fee to install the screen protector. I bought the device and bought the screen at Best Buy and they can’t include the install for free is disappointing

Plain and simple, this tablet is just worth it. The features won't blow you away, but at this price point, it kind of does. I added a 128GB mini SD and now I have more memory than most iPads. For the way that we use it, this is a no brainer compared to anything that costs $200+. Throw in the Alexa compatibility and Echo Show simulation, I love it. I can use this to voice command other devices, lights as well as playing games and just being on the Internet.

I've only had it for a few weeks, &still learning about all its functions, but getting great use already. Great for web searches, checking email, etc. Many apps for TV shows, movies, games, etc. The 8" screen is large enough for good viewing. It's nice when I want a bigger screen than my phone, but don't have access to my PC. Great size for travel! Very functional for low cost! It would also be great for kids. A good buy!

Do the job. Fast and reliable. Good battery life. Performance and touch is also good as compared to other tabs in this price range.
