Screen is bigger and improved over the 7. Seems like it runs faster than my old 7 as well but that might not be what you find. Overall am happy with the purchase and value for the price

We needed a tablet for my daughter and this is always a great buy and one we can use and trust. Very easy to set up and sustains all of the abuse an 8 year old puts it through.

Very good product at an excellent price. Allows us to access all Amazon apps (kindle, audible, music, prime...) while still using all sorts of other apps. A very good deal!

I am a schoolteacher and I purchased this tablet to use in my classroom. It is super easy for the students to use this tablet and I am able to use programs necessary for our instruction.

I like it very much I am able to conduct my online business with it as well as online streaming and surfing the web...I have had it about a month and still haven't tried all the special functions it does. Very happy with purchase

Great tablet for me and very good price. Does not compare to any of the ipads, bit by no means is it bad. You get more than what you pay for in my opinion. I dedinite must when looking for a well priced product.

Fire hd is my first android based tablet. Bought it for occasional use, not my prime device. So far so good. Does what i need: web browsing mostly. Battery life is decent. Satisfied with purches. Price is very reasonable

This is a neat tablet for simple everyday browsing and reading. The storage can be upgraded using a microSD card which works well. Have a couple of them and never had any problems thus far.

Bought this for my 9 year old to use. I've used the kindle before and have always had good reviews for them so hoping it is the same for this one. Was able to try it out in store and liked it.

Prime sucks and it shoves a lot of ads at you, but the kindle works great. Internet is fast. And the interface is easy to navigate. And it is less than half price of a comparable tablet from another company (any other company).

I bought several of these to use in my classroom to code our Dash robots. The tablets were easy for the kids to use and navigate. Plus the batteries lasted all day! What a great purchase.

Bought for little son as the other 2 kids have them and he realized he was left out. Seems to be pretty indestructible and can take a lot of nonsense from a 3 year old. Simple to use.

I purchased this as a gift and my niece loves it. She does not need to take her computer everywhere she goes. The Fire HD allows her to read books and do other activities.

I purchased this when my old Fire broke. It is so nice to use it to download free Kindle books and to play free games on Kindle... I recommend the purchase as it comes with a lot of very good content to explore.

I just need this to view and process orders and I can do this great with this tablet Also love all the content I can view, read, and listen to with my Prime Membership

Why carry one book when you can have 20? I sometimes start reading a book outside and after a bit feel that it doesn’t feel my current mood. But I’m stuck with the book. Not anymore!

I got this for my wife who's old Kindle Fire 8.9" finally died. We weren't sure whether to get this 8" or go for the bigger more premium 10". She likes this size since it was more like a book and portable - good so far!

Wanted a functional tablet at a good price, and BB had better deals on these Amazon FIre tablets than even Amazon did! My favorite color is yellow, so put 2 and 2 together and...
