I like reading and playing chess against the computer. So the 8 inch Fire tablet fit my life style (I also have the Paperwhite E-reader). The only problem I have with the Fire tablets is the battery life. My latest Fire tablet battery lasted maybe two years for the unit started shutting down completely while at 50 percent. So waited for a sale and purchased two Fire tablets for the price of one. Now I have a back up Fire tablet lol.

Great Product, Download Google Play On It

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By itself, it's ok at best, once your hack it and put Google play onto it, it become a very useful and versitle tablet with a surprisingly fast proccsor. To download Google Play Store on it, check out the videos on YouTube. Granted it's not for beginners but once you realize what to download, it's pretty straight forward.
