I bought this for my mother. It's good for her because she doesn't do much but play games and shop. I'm not crazy about the layout and I'm so used to Chrome using Silk was a little irritating. Also all the Kindle stuff was unnecessary for me. But she likes it and for the price it was good.

I purchased an Amazon tablet for my eleven year old. This is my second go round with this brand. They come in handy while in the car and can be used at school for books for certain classes. The only thing I wish was better is the camera.

This inexpensive tablet has clear audio, good video, easy to adjust the colors, it offers great guides, I like the virtual keyboard, video chat works great. very intuitive and easy to use for users of all ages.

i bought this tablet for my mom and she loves it! she uses it daily, to play games and watch videos on youtube. it's easy for someone like her to use since she's not technology advanced.

Cheaper doesn’t always equate to better. Not a bad product, especially if you’re an Amazon user (Prime, Music, Kindle, etc.). However, very frustrating not being able to find most apps available at the App Stores for Apple & Android, but not on Amazon. Also, not as user-friendly as the Apple iPad!

Micro usb was not the greatest for kids but overall a good tablet

Bought this one on sale for 70.00. for daughter. I also have a samsung but it was 3 times the price. Actually the fire HD 8 has a slightly better screen than the samsung and an extra speaker. My daughter uses it more than her laptop and has tons of apps/games she plays. Its a basic tablet but seems like good quality and does everything she throws at it. For a good basic tablet without breaking the bank this is the one to get.

This is a nice little tablet. The new model works well and it’s quick. Is it better than an IPad? No. However, for a fraction of the cost you get a good tablet that is linked to the amazon ecosystem and has hands free features with Alexa.

I can add the google play store and it has show mode also. Works great with the amazon dock. Not bad for the sales price paid. So much smaller than my ipad pro to carry around.

Still working after a year & navigation on the device is easy for the age 3-5. Set up easy.

My daughter's best entertainment device. Stories, YouTube, games all in one affordable cost.
