Got this for a Christmas present for my niece and nephew. They love it. Not to happy with your Amazon account being accessible to the youngsters but that’s how it works. They play with it everyday. And it’s even yellow which I didn’t know I bought.

This is my third Kindle Fire, and it's really the best. For less than $100.00 you have a very workable little tablet and e-reader. You can use Alexa with it, the video/tv quality is very good. I like to read a lot but also switch to shopping, Facebook, read my email, etc. I can do all of this easily.

I got 3 of these for my kids since I got special pricing for being a Best Buy member. They've all gone through multiple devices over the past several years. This one seems a bit nicer than the ones in the past, but after having an ipad these really can't compare. Good enough for kids to use.

I can even let the kids use my Amazon Prime membership by creating a family account ... bonus :) We did get the show mode charging stations for them to eliminate plugging and unplugging them all the time.

THIS TABLET IS PERFECT FOR EVERYTHING. WE BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND WHO IS NOT VERY COMPUTER SMART AND ITS JUST RIGHT FOR HIM. HE CHOSE A CHEAPER CELL PHONE AND WENT WITH A TABLET FOR THE OTHER APPS HE LIKES TO USE . A GREAT TABLET FOR THE MONEY!

Upgraded from a Gen3, some things are the same, others upgraded, pretty straight forward learning curve, only real minus for me, can't make the text size as large as earlier versions.

tried it, would have had to buy my entire nook library again, cost less than samsung tablet, but buying all my books again would make it cost more

I bought this for my husband because his original Kindle finally died. While he primarily used the old one for reading, he has found the new one great for streaming series and movies.

I love my Fire HD tablet! I use it mostly for internet searching and reading. Nice, smooth operation and easy navigation!

Its a good tablet for beginners. Runs a little slow for my liking but overall gets the job done for what i use it for.

My daughter liked it. Hence, more use. More usage required more charging. However, the charging spot got damaged too soon.

I bought this for my 9 year old “grandfriend” and she uses it all the time when she is not doing her homework! She especially likes the camera feature!

The new Kindle is very good. However, the navigation of the commands took a little getting used to. Slightly different from the previous generation models I had.
