Overall the product is good but we're having to finagle how we use this for a child, which is why we purchased it. The graphics are good and it serves it's purpose.

The larger screen is nice. Easy to learn and use. Screen has great clarity.

Upgraded the wife's tablet to this, she previously had one of the top of line hdx kindles from 2012ish. This was the new "flagship" model. It does run faster then her old one, and is MUCH lighter! It has lower resolution though, which is unfortunate because besides all the reading and web surfing and gaming, she also uses it for picture viewing sharing. Still a good tablet over all.

I purchased this for my husband who wanted a tablet for reading books and playing games. He is enjoying reading and there are many free books to pick from.

Really like the improvements from my 5-year old Kindle Fire to the new Kindle HD. Much faster and much clearer. I also like the options to shade the screen to light green or light tan while reading. As I have macular degeneration, this is a great improvement and aid, I highly recommend the Kindle HD. However, the on-off button could be placed in a better area!

While Amazon has improved its OS it still needs help. I bought this for my wife who loves it but I would rather have nothing if this was my only option.

Christmas gift for husband he is learning how to use it wish it had manual so it would be easier for him as he has no computer or typing experience.

This is my third Kindle and it is great for what it is intended for. I love the Text-to-speech option.

We bought this for my daughter's birthday and she loves watching movies and reading her books. I also borrow it to read my books too!!

The picture quality and ease of use are just what I wanted.

I have this item for myself but let my daughter borrow while she sat at the hospital with my son in law.. since her birthday was coming up I thought about getting one for her... my sister was shopping for new tvs ( I told her Best Buy was the better place to get them.. So I picked up the Kindle a Pad and a dvd for me.. everybody was happy.

This was a gift for my mother in law; although she needed help in use, she really enjoyed being able to read her favorite newspaper online.

I love this tablet. This tablet is big enough to read magazines and newspaper articles with no problem. The colors are so vivid.

This was a gift for my 12 year old son and it has been a great decision. He loves it and it is much more versatile than an iPod.
