The battery life seems to be short compared to my originaly Kindle.

It is the right size. It works very well for playing games.

Bought this to replace my mom's old Amazon Kindle. She had an earlier version. Was very please to purchase this one since it came in pink (or whatever the color they named it was). It does look more pink than purple if you're wondering. It started up and was all setup on wifi, the echo, and everything else in the home. Works great!

Awesome computer! The display has such vibrant and unbelievable picture quality you can't find this other than on this Apple Computer! Well worth the money spent and you will definitely have a computer for five years plus in this unit . Make sure you get the Apple iPhone 6 s model to display your beautiful pictures taken.

This is a great media player! Movies, books and some games as well. I think the Silk Browser is terrible but I've installed Firefox which is an improvement. Great media consumption but probably not much more. I would do work on this like I do my iPad Pro.

Initially I got the original Kindle and then upgraded to the Fire. I enjoyed this until earlier this year when I got the Fire HD 8. I still use it mostly for reading as I am an avid reader but truly enjoy the ability to use it as a tablet or even a camera. It is user friendly and the graphics are wonderful.

It's a decent tablet for the price. There are definitely better tablets by Samsung and Apple, but they require a lot of $$$. If you are looking for a good e-reader with capability to check email, browse the web, and run the occasional app ... this is it.

I purchased the Kindle Fire HD to use with the VAULT2 CD player and it works great. I am able to download apps and read books. When listening to music on the VAULT2 it is so convenient to be able to pick the artist and songs that I want to listen to using the app on the Kindle.

My amazon fire phone quit working I had come to rely on it for most things I do. Just could bring my self to go to different phone with fire capable apps well now I don't have to fire tab takes care of all my needs except phone so I got a phone just for call tab does the rest.
