Not sure why the life term of her kindles have only been two years. I just bought her a new Kindle and she can't get pass the setup. Geek Squad will will be seeing you soon.

Worked great for two weeks. It crashed on the startup screen and Amazon is now RMA'ing it.

I dont really like this Kindle Fire. I liked my old one better. I just want a reader without all the "bells and whistles".

I just bought my tablet and loved it until I just realized that I can't read my books I have downloaded unless I have internet.. The amount of storage left on the free storage space upon getting your tablet going is ridiculously low..I've read many reviews stating that the SD cards will not store books on them? What is the purpose of being able to have extra storage space if you can't save apps or books????!!!!!???? Totally pointless! What a waste of money..the charging cord is extremely short too BTW.. The battery gets drained very fast..this getting returned and I will be buying a glaxy tab 4 nook from Barnes and nobles

I bought this tablet Dec. 2015. It is used multiple times daily to read online news,research information online, and listen to music online.The tablet is lightweight and that makes it easy to use for reading. The speakers produce better than average sound. Using my Wi-Fi speakers makes listening to music a pleasant experience. Good tablet for a reasonable price.

I found this product with no issues and meeting more than my expectations. It is a great value. Especially liked I was able to read the tablet at the beach.

I have read many negative reviews of this product and while it is not a particularly fast product, it does what it says. Yes there is some lag, but this costs 130 bucks. It is the cheapest tablet of its size and spec range on the market. If you want a better tablet, don't be cheap. It plays videos, allows you to read books, surfs the web, and works well with Amazon Prime.

I've had a nook. Needed one that I can download college textbooks on and nook can't do that. Download the app I needed and all my textbooks are there at my finger tips. Easy to use.

I bought this Kindle for my son for Christmas and he loves it.

I had the 6 inch HD Fire but after 3 years I dropped and killed it. Loved the picture and size but wanted to try an update. I am not disappointed! Love to read and surf the Web so this is the device for me.

I bought this for a person that says they aren't techology savvy and they love it! It's pretty simple to use and it's great for people that enjoy reading and playing games. Also the sound is amazing!

It took me a while to figure out how to use it without printed directions, so I downloaded a book with information about it. It now works well. However, I wish it would not need to be charged so often.

I love this kindle. However, the webroot protection that comes with it has so many hoops to jump through to install on your device as to render it completely useless...I gave up.

Great purchase, looking for an overall good tablet and this did just what I was looking for! Needed a tablet for a trip through Europe and it wasn't too big or heavy.

My first Tablet and was disappointed when every time I turned on the tablet, I was asked if I wanted to watch a movie or read a book from Amazon. Most of the apps that are preloaded are about Amazon products. The app selection is very limited and mostly Amazon products. Very difficult to find non-Amazon apps to load. It was fast to load and the colors great. If you want to watch movies or read a book, this is a good product, If you're looking for applications, this is not the one.

I would prefer an android-tablet for high-level tables, but think this is great for general use and integration with Amazon.

I only wanted something to play games, get on Internet and check email. This is great for that purpose. I have no complaints.

Really enjoy the size and convenience of the Fire 8. Enough space for lots of apps, fast, and pretty fair price.

To short of life span 2years old...and it died will not take a charge.....

value for money. amazon prime videos, audible and amazon music are excellent
