My niece had the previous version and liked it. But this version is a true upgrade. This version runs faster, the screen is clearer, it has better apps. I have even considered getting one for myself. This is a true upgrade.

Love the tablet it works out my kids drool throw and kick at for no reason and not a broken screen. The extra padding on the case works out well. If it came with a screen protector or two would be great as well.

These are pretty good because I have bought in the past but this one all of a sudden stopped working. Have seen this before but thankfully it has the 2 year warranty, without it I would not have purchased it.

This fire HD kids is best to gift my nephew. He is 6 years old. Now he doesn’t touch parents cell phone. He is very happy because there is everything what he wants.

A decent basic tablet for a child. Good size screen, very protective case. You can limit how much screen time per day, volume limit, and see everything that has been watched or played. Where it falls short is parental controls for content, they work the opposite way you want them to. It comes with a free subscription to Amazon Kids for a year and you can set an age limit for "appropriate content". The stuff I say is appropriate is much different than what Amazon suggests. And say that you want to block a certain set of videos or programs (lets say for example you don't want them to see anything with Scooby Doo) you would have to go into the parental controls on Amazon's website search for it and have to block every single video, book, game or app separately, I would like it to be where I pick everything that the child could see. Next time I'll buy a decent Samsung tablet and control what apps get put on myself.

A purchase I made for my 3 year old grandson because he constantly wanted my daughter's cell phone to play his favorite game or video. He loves his tablet and it keeps him entertained.

Perfect for small child. My granddaughter loves it and her mom and dad love how content she is watching a video when taking long road trips

The tablet was great at first, overtime it got slower. Easily breakable my 1 year old stepped on it and it broke.

The kids just love this tablet so much and being able to use it in a way that I can control when they have it on and off is the most outstanding thing of all.

The size is perfect for my one year old. He is able to carry his tablet to most places without problems and enjoys the free year of Amazon kids!
