Posted .Hello ZachA! I am so sorry you are having this issue with your new kids tablet. This can sometimes happen for one of two reasons. You may have too many apps running in the background using up precious processing power. You can fix this by tapping the multitask button in the bottom right of the screen. This will bring up all running apps. You can swipe each one up individually that you are no longer using to close it out or you can swipe all the way over and tap Close All. The other reason this can happen is your tablet may be in need of an update that is held up. You can go to Settings>Device Information>Check for Updates. If neither of these help fix the issue, you can troubleshoot further with Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331. I hope this helps improve your experience some and that you have amazing day!

Allow me to briefly explain how to navigate on the Fire HD 8 Kids. 1. Tap on an application you would like to use 2. When you desire to leave the application and return to your home pages, tap the circle found at the bottom of the screen. If it is now shown, simply use a small swipe at the bottom to bring the action bar back to visibility. 3. If you would like to simply switch back and forth between apps then press the square to the right of the circle 4. Lastly, the triangle on the left of the action bar will act as a back arrow. The Fire Tablet line has an endless scrolling option that suggests tons and tons of apps. I felt there is little too no control or parental management.

Posted .Hello Masternico1, seems as the tablet experience you are getting with the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids. You are able to set up a parent account on the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids and use it as a regular tablet. All you have to is:
1. Select the parent overlay menu on the top right.
2. Select Switch Profile and then select the profile you wish to switch to.
3. Enter the device's PIN or password.
