Posted .Hello YasminF! I am so terribly sorry you are having slow down/glitch-like issues with your Kids tablet. Usually what causes something like this can be having too many things running in the background slowing down the processor or an update that is hung up. You can check to see what is running in the background by tapping the Multitask icon in the lower right of the screen. This will bring up any apps that are still running in the background. You can individually swipe up the ones that are no longer being used or swipe all the way over and tap Close All to free up some processing power. To check on software updates, you can navigate to Settings>Device Options>System Updates>Check Now or Install. If neither of these tips work, you can contact Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further and see what options are available to you. This device does come with a 2 year worry free guarantee being a Kids Tablet so there may be options available to you. I do hope that these tips help improve your son's experience and that you have an amazing day!

It's a totally different platform from anything else though so it takes some getting used to. It's hard to switch from PC to this so if you have a PC (or MAC) it might be frustrating having to switch your brain to deal with this device. It seems very limited on what you can do with this device. I assume it's because Amazon is controlling the access but I don't know. I think we would be much better off with an iPad or any other PC based tablet.
