I was told to contact Amazon for support. They did send a replacement but it was a used tablet. I don’t think it’s right to buy brand new and it gets replaced with a used item

I recommend ensuring that the software on the tablet is up to date. Go to Settings. Select Device Options. Select System Updates. Select Check Now. If an update is available, select Update or Install. There may be multiple updates. If so, select install after each update is finished. Clear the cache for frequently used apps, especially the browser. Please ensure that you have no apps running in the background by tapping the square symbol at the bottom of your tablet, next to your Home button. Dismiss any apps you are not currently using.
