Great Fire tablet. Easy to use. Great speed. Easy conversion to Android. Easy to use Google Play Store and other websites for downloads and installations. Great purchase considering a very reasonable price.

I absolutely love my new Kindle. I bought it primarily as a reader. To access more books in both Kindle and Audible stores. However, when I need to research something simple online, the browser comes in extremely handy. We've also watched a few shows downloaded from Prime and Netflix on it. The screen is the perfect size to do anything I want to. I am a person who is generally attached to my laptop. But the Kindle is nearly as fast and definitely as easy to access as my laptop is. The option to be able to add apps to it as needed has the added effect, that, perhaps in the future, I may end up preferring it over my laptop. It's definitely a purchase that gets plenty of use. So far, I have no downside or any issues that have arisen since I received it in the mail.

I bought this tablet to replace my Fire HD 7 tablet. While it still works, it has a crack in it and the camera would freeze up frequently. I plan to use this new Fire HD 8 in a minimal capacity for taking pictures, accessing the web now and then and storing a few of my most frequent apps. I like the larger size of the 8 and the speed seems to be a lot better as well. It seems to charge fairly quickly and so far it does hold its charge a lot longer than the 7 ever did.

Clear, detailed image with accurate color, and great touch response plus decent onboard speakers is great for impromptu streaming. Plenty of storage for your average app user, expandable with a microSD. Speed is average, not blazingly fast, but never frustratingly slow, either. The default apps are fine - both functional and stable. I actually like the simplicity and speed of the Silk browser, don't know if I would want to use anything else on this tablet. Pro tip: the OS is written on an Android platform, and after a couple changes to settings and some downloads, it will run Google apps. You'd pay twice as much for a comparably spec'd Android tab, so buy this, make those changes, and you just got yourself a great value!

Super easy to use and has everything you need. My 95 year old mother loves it. So satisfied, I bought one for my brother as well! Can't beat the price either.

I purchased this product for my special needs child. The setup was very easy and he was able to use the device quickly. I am pleased with the over-all durability of the tablet coupled with the protective case. I encourage everyone to buy one as apposed to less expensive and unreliable tabkets.

More space. Better picture. Faster. Works great so far!! Very happy w product! I suggest getting it without adds though. Kind of annoying. Pay the extra!

I have been very happy with this tablet. I had previously had 10 in tablets and was afraid this would be too small but I really like the size. I am happy with the speed to surf the net and to play games or videos. It took me a little bit to get used to having android apps and not google apps. I thought since it was an android system I would have access to the same apps. The amazon app store has similar items. Overall very happy for the quality at this price point.

I got this when on Black Friday, I mainly use this for browsing, casual gaming and watching Netflix on the go, great thing about this tablet it can be use as echo show mode all you need is to plugin to the charger all you can get the optional wireless charging stand. The battery life is good on this tablet and the speed is reasonable. The only cons for the one I got is the Ads screen which is not bother me at all.

I love my Amazon Fire HD 8. This isn't my first one, I actually have had Fire tablets in 3 different sizes because I use them instead of televisions. The 7 inch pops right in my purse for on the go streaming, banking, shopping and games, while out to eat and while getting ready to go out. I never miss my shows and my cable provider has an app for regular tv I can watch on here. A real boredom saver while waiting in the Dr's office, bank line or other such times. The 10 inch is a great size to bring with me around the house while getting things done while watching my programs. Use for Webex and Zoom meetings. I just charge them up and they are set for watching many hours which is a great energy and money savings not running a tv all the time. I can connect the wifi to my phone hotspot or anywhere they have wifi. I can use my bluetooth earbuds or regular plug-in earbuds or headphones. The built in speaker is pretty good but isn't very loud so having a decent sounding bluetooth speaker connected is a plus. The screen looks great with vibrant color and clear HD viewing on all size Fire HD Tablets.

This is one of several 8 inch Kindle Fires I have bought as they upgrade them. I actually bought two. They perform as real readers and are not so heavy as an iPad. I always add a 128 chip so that I can download Netflix series to watch on trips. I like the new type C power connector. I donate the last years models to individuals that need one. Very reliable and much tougher than a full iPad. A good source of music for even the best headphones.

Great little tablet. Fits nicely in hand and battery life is awesome as it holds a charge for several days.

I had lots of these over the years and keep getting new ones. Only my last one broke some internal connection and had to be replaced early. New one was faster and I was able to transfer about 90% of the files because they are on the CD card. the rest down loaded from my account when it synced. I read a lot on the Kindle and can surf the web for most needs. But some websites just don't work on tables, but that's not the Kindles' fault.

Awesome! I love, love my fire 10 inch HD tablet. Long lasting battery, 12 hours. Great picture quality! My favorite toy!!! I added a sd card. I have nearly 50 movies and games downloaded so we can watch movies on the go without using internet hotspot!

It is great for the price . Small and fast I can connect with Bluetooth speakers

My previous Fire HD was many years old and gave me good service but was slowing down/freezing often, so I retired it to kitchen recipe duty and bought this replacement for general use. This 8" 32 was easy to set up and get my books/email/other apps loaded. The arrangement of control buttons/swiping is different, but still intuitive. The power cord is a newer version. Charge is reasonably quick and holds for most of the day for reading and internet use. Movies use power faster, of course. The screen is clear (HD!) and has a nice nighttime timer to reduce blue light exposure. My Kindle is my daily use computer for checking email, social media and internet searches and this version is doing well. Streamed movies load and play smoothly. I haven't downloaded one for travel yet. I can't speak to its gaming capabilities as I only have a few brain exercise games loaded (sudoku, solitary, etc). Those I have work well. My previous Kindle felt a bit more "mine" with no ads unless I went on the internet. This one has a main screen category For You with current book recommendations that makes me feel a bit "watched." I hope to explore security settings more fully and fix that. This Kindle does have Alexa, if that's convenient for you. Overall, I really enjoy my Kindle.

I adore the tablet. It’s the best Android I’ve ever owned.It’s fast, easy to use, fair priced, has great quality and it gives me no problems. My husband and I both have one. My kids play with them too. The only complaint I have is the Amazon AppStore. It’s pretty limited. They have the most important apps, for sure but make sure to check the app list before buying if you need certain apps.

Battery life is better than any other device I have purchased. Set up is easier too. User friendly quality is excellent & speed is almost as good as my apple products. I have recommended fire tablets to my friends & will continue to.
