So far seems like a very good tablet for the price.

Works great and a fraction of the price of an ipad

Great for bringing in traveling. Light and sturdy.

It is good for minimal use like controlling smart devices and reading books

I upgraded to the Fire 8. The reason is the service at BestBuy and the fact that I could trade in my old Fire.

I really like The Fire Tablet! It’s such an upgrade from the previous model from a few years ago. There one feature that I miss having like the ability to have a different Wall Paper every time I open the Tablet.

New version of a Fire HD does everything the same as a five yer old one so no learning curve. Also not much of an improvement so if the old one still works??? i do not use the proximity charging feature so works the same. New Amazon case is wonderful accessory but pricey.

The only problem I’ve had is I can’t put Google Crome on it and the preloaded Web browser has frozen to where I have to restart the website to fix it.

this was my early christmas present from my husband. love to read so i was originally looking for a kindle but this tablet allows me to read and to also play games and watch tv on my streaming services! i love it!

Slow and difficult to use. Couldn't download what I needed for it so I sold it.

I have a 7. My wife was hoping for one for Christmas and I played Santa. Very fast response to touch icons. While we wish there were more iPhone apps, we understand the restrictions from Apple. Having some difficulty downloading some apps. It gets stuck and stops. Will check again for her and see what's up.

I bought this initially as a birthday gift for my husband to read digital books on, but it was actually heavier than we thought, so he prefers his phone afterall. We then gave the tablet to our 7YO to watch streaming channels and play games on. It works pretty well in that capacity, but does have some odd glitches where occasionally it gets stuck on the home screen. Also, the ads that pop up on the homescreen are rather annoying, and until I realized you could go in and change settings, were inappropriate for my child. Altogether, this isn't a bad tablet for simple uses, but it doesn't seem able to handle too much before getting laggy and glitchy.

I LOVE THAT THE PUCHASE OF THIS TABLET HAS PROVIDED ME WITH MANY ENJOYABLE HOURS OF LISTENING TO BOOKS THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO SO WHILE TRAVELING TO AND FRO TO WORK ON MASS TRANSIT.

The new 2022 Kindle 8 states that it is 30% faster than the previous model, and so far it seems to be. Loads pages and apps and books must faster than my previous Kindle. Screen is clear and sound as good.

On the whole good. Cons - I got it for my older mother and the biggest problem is if it drops off the Wi-Fi the method to putting it back on is by no means intuitive. Very sensitive touch screen too. Both downsides for the elderly.

Had great assisstance determining my former Kindle needed replacement. Appreciated the sales person who spent time determining my former was indeed done and needed to be replaced.

I brought the device for my son and he mainly uses it to watch video's and play roblox. He keeps getting kicked out the game for some reason...not sure why. But other thank that it works fine.

The price for this is great. I just really hated the ads that go on the top and how hard it was to get the apps I was used to on my android tablet. Ended up returning it.

Well, this is a Christmas gift but from looking over reviews this seems to be a great gift. I'm giving this to my parents to be able to navigate easier on websites instead on their phones.
