    The tablet comes with many great features, but it also comes with a trap. You MUST OPEN AN AMAZON ACCOUNT TO USE THE TABLET! Your child can't use WiFi or anything on the tablet without the AMAZON ACCOUNT.

      Hello Moses245. Thank you for offering your time to provide feedback on your device experience. While we do require an Amazon account signed into this device in order to get full functionality it is no different than an Apple or Google device requiring an Apple or Google account to be able to download apps in order to use those apps and services on those devices. We do not require any subscription nor does it "trap" any customers in order to use it. We simply require that so that you can access the Appstore for apps and services, to back up your tablet and restore it in the event you need to change devices, or to provide you quick access to any other Amazon services such as Prime Video or your Kindle books. If you do not have an Amazon account, it is free to set up and can be done during the initial set up in minutes.     Did not meet expectations. Was billed as being able to play roblox for my son and it crashes and disconnects so often its impossible to enjoy

      I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty you are experiencing with the Roblux app on your Fire HD 8 Tablet is glitching and then shutting down.
      Let's clear the app cache and data from the Roblux app:
      Open the Settings menu.
      Select Apps & Notifications.
      Select Manage All Applications or See all... apps and choose the Roblux app.
      Select Storage, tap to Clear Data or Clear Storage, then Clear Cache.
      After that restart your Fire HD 8 Tablet:
      Press and hold the power button for up to three seconds until you see a shutdown request message.
      Select OK and your device turns off.

    All of a sudden games stopped working exactly the on on jan 14th so I couldn’t do the return because return option ended the same day !!!

    It works well, good picture quality. A little complicated to set up and connect to WiFi, without an Amazon account. I probably should have looked more closely
