Good product for kids

He says that there is not a whole lot to choose from on the fire as compared to Android. Good graphics sturdy case make this a great item.

The apps, books, and videos are age appropriate and comes with a lot of content. Parental controls work great, and overall easy to use.

Great options for parents

We had a Kindle fire for our five-year-old daughter but had problems with content and functionality for children. This new Kindle has software features that are designed for children. I would recommend it for any parent. It's a great tool for children to learn.

Unhappy with product.

It reached capacity and automatically disconnected to the Wi-Fi. I had to continuously delete applications to free up the space (8 GB). My child was very unhappy with the constant interruptions while playing games or trying to launch applications. I was very frustrated by the inability to add an SD card to add storage. I returned the product and purchased another tablet.

Great durable piece of hardware for the young.

Setup was easy and I do not have to worry about them buying or going somewhere they shouldn't on the Internet. Graphics are on par with my iPad and the included software is age appropriate and most importantly the boys had fun playing them,
