We love ours and after years it is functioning properly!

My grandson loved this. It was nice and durable for a child to use.

I was looking at a leapfrog tablet for my Grandson but after talking to a very knowledgeable sales representative I went with his recommendation and bought the kindle fire had for kids.

Couldn't charge it. The purpose is defeated. So disappointed. Full of regret.

Had this product for just a few hours and it would freeze every time my daughter would try to play it. Very hard to navigate, maybe it's because we are use to Apple products but we had a hard time trying to figure out how to work it.

Could not get to the internet and what's on it is what you get.

They hold up to toddler tantrum has been thrown out of strollers and grocery baskets and still no cracks. The only down fall was I wish that I would have bought the one with a bigger memory.

The Bad: 1. The battery goes too quickly. 2. The battery takes 5 hours to charge. 3. The operating system takes nearly 40% of the storage space. We are constantly trying to delete apps to download others. I say trying because we are limited to what we can actually delete. 4. Operating system is not intuitive, even for an adult, let alone a child. 5. My kids cannot play several kids games that other children can play on adult tablets. The Good: 1. The device is durable. 2. The device is guaranteed not to break. Bottom Line: Choose a different device. Note: I bought two of these for my children as Christmas gifts. If I had only bought one I would have thought that I just bought a bad one. However, they both have earned the one-star rating.

We got them for our 6 & 4 year olds for Christmas. They love them. Setting up their profiles was easy, and only allows age appropriate material. Only complaint is the soft cases only come in blue which makes it difficult to differentiate the 2.

We got this for my nephew for Christmas, and he loves it. All the features and controls are great for parents too. My brother in law had a little learning curve setting it up, but found it to be pretty easy in the end.

Kids will really enjoy everything that they can do on this tablet.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my little brother, came 2 days early, so awesome Best Buy! But it did give us a little trouble Christmas morning. I had downloaded additional games and books before Christmas, my brother opened it went to play it and it froze when I connected it to wifi. I turned it off, and then back on and it would not turn on all the way, it just showed "Fire" on a black screen. Called Geek Squad, they were very helpful and had me do a battery reset. It has not had any problems since! My brother plays it daily for about an hour to 2 hours and loves it. Like I said, not amazing, but it has been good ever since Christmas day

The parental control for the kindles is awesome. Plus comes with a 2 year worry free warranty i would still recommend the Geek Squad protection because best buy protection plans are awesome!!!

The kindle is a great tablet for kids. Lots of great content included with freetime subscription. The only drawback is that it does not allow a lot of apps to be downloaded at the same time. Kids will have to delete things a lot in order to download new apps...and that includes photos.

Easy to set up, very good parental controls compared to other platforms (i.e Nintendo). Grandson loves it!

Excellent choice for my 7 year old grandson! I highly recommend it. He has learned so much! Thank you!!
