Mediocre at best

It takes forever to get a full battery charge and then the battery life is poor. We had the same issues with the last one and have only had this one for a couple of weeks. Not impressed.

Not rugged enough for kids

She's not rough with them and doesn't abuse them but they just stop working long before they should.

Great game apps for kids

I just noticed that once an app os open, it stays open and its hard to look for which one is open to close it. I had to shut it down to stop it. There is no way of closing the recent apps that was launched to stop it.

Software UI changed from kid friendly to adult. For example the pictures of this ad show large icons that is gone and the UI just like the regular Kindle fire.
