So the kids version of the Fire is vert difficult to navigate for the kids and even worse for the parents when trying to add new content. I love Amazon’s products but this one is still pretty rough in terms of it user experience.

I like the tablet overall but I'm disappointed that it doesn't have access to Google play. The Amazon apps wouldn't be so bad if they offered the same apps or had more of a selection.

I bought this from bestbuy and since then facing a problem with the tab for charging. Whether it is adaptor issue or tab issue, i dont know. It charges for few minutes and then stops. I do not see any option to chat on this app with helpdesk, so looks like i will have to go to bedt buy centre only. Besides i did not quite like the display, but i was aware and you get what you paid for :)

The tablet is excellent but the protective case is no good I suggest you order a better replacement. This is my second tablet because the first one crack when my son dropped it.

The problems with this Fire is that it constantly loses internet connection. It also requires to be reset to factory setting to operate properly.

The fire is the same as the kindle. They aren't usable as anything else other than what you buy them for. Basically unable to do much else unless you really mess with it.

Great tablet for kids! Lots of preloaded content and activities to keep your little ones entertained. The battery takes forever to charge- which is my only complaint.

I only bought this so my 6yr could practice her Lexia, as recommended by her teacher. It is not compatible, despite what the associtate at Best Buy told me at the time of purchase.

I know amazon tablets are low end, but this thing is slow. Which is not a good thing for a child that wants to watch a video and it just spins. My 5 year old samsung tabler is 10 times faster. Hope update fixes this but right now it mostly is used as a paper weight

Does not have a lot of storage. Would play sound in sleep mode. Software did not run smoothly.

We bought this for our son (8 years old) and it was not that easy to use. We ended up returning it and getting him an ipad.

It’s a tablet for kids, what else is there to say? I recommend buying a regular one & a child proof case that way it can be used by others or older kids.

Not completely happy with it! It doesn’t have the ability to go online for kids to watch things like YouTube for kids

If this is for children it is not user friendly. Not much to say on this but not user friendly for a child!

To basic, my little kid like but not so much. We try to install ABC mouse but was impossible. We want tu return this tablet.

Purchased for our 7 year old - she was used to her Samsung tablet but has adapted to the basic functions of this tablet.

I purchased this for my grandson. He throws it around. He stands on it. He may turn it on some day.

So you still have to be online in order to view purchased movies? You also have to be online to go to your family settings. Pointless if you are in a car on the road. Not sure if it was an issue. I updated the device. No go. Reset the entire device. No go. Same issue. It works fine at home, once you leave the house, more than half the features dont work... even with items "downloaded" to the device. Also, this is a kids tablet. Oh how many errors did we get in the kids profile.. Kids cant troubleshoot a device. This device is a horrible UI design Getting an iPad.

Good for kids although UI is very confusing. Also doesn't work outside US.
