I love kindles and thought this would be great for my little one. Not impressed on how quickly the battery loses charge. Sometimes a short movie (60 mins) doesn’t finish without us having to plug it in. It has been dropped several times and is certainly childproof. I wouldn’t buy again.

good tablet for the kids they have a blue and pink one so one for both my children but the kindle tablets all of them after a while the charger port goes on them then you have to replace it and its always after the 2 year warranty. im on my 4th one for my daughter and the 3rd for my son

We have bought the Samsung tablet and even and iPad we saw our daughter always ask for the Amazon tablet it's super kid friendly you can set it up for them and monitor everything and restrict them from why content u don't want them to watch by far best tablet for kids great job Amazon

I love this tablet for my son ! I love the fact that it has a profile just for him so I know that he’s not watching something he’s not suppose to . Definitely recommend this tablet ! Oh and the cover for the tablet is amazing! My son will drop this tablet a million times and not a scratch.

I purchased the tablet for my niece and she loves it. The set up was easy and moderately fast. The only complaint I have is the fact that I couldn’t set it up with out a credit card and an account with amazon. If it’s a child’s tablet, I don’t understand why it needs all of that info. I didn’t just want my information out there in case she ever lost it.

I love this tablet. I love that you can set it to your childs age and it only lets them use things for there age group. It will notify my directly to my cell phone if they try to use or get in things there not suppose to. You can set a password so they can't but some kids try....

We considered these tablets (2) for our grandchildren as they continuously played on our cell phones. The slightly larger display makes playing various applications easy and the available colors ensured they each had respective tablets tailored to their own desires......Great present!

Good for my young niece to play games and watch videos!

The tablet is ok, the case is fine but the kids mode is not so kid friendly, i have to constantly help her figure out how to navigate the menu that is too cluttered and confusing for her, there is no browser to get youtube, they offer some youtube videos but after they end it goes back to the menu and she gets stuck, not great for in the car....you cannot search any videos except what they offer. Its ok, but next time i will just get an android tablet that i can use thier kids mode and the actual youtube app, i regret this purchase and think the samsung tab lite is far superior to the kindle fire for kids. Oh and this tablet is very slow and screen is low def, its probably only worth 50 bucks tops. Do some reserch first its not the best option.

My 3 years old uses it, the apps are really easy for him
