It's simple

I wish the version of android wasn't so restricted and there are certain apps unavailable like YouTube kids. There's a generic version but it's not the same programming. Also I was told it takes a sim card slot which is false so you're stuck waiting for Wi-Fi.

Confusing interface, poor battery life

After learning playing with it more, I've realized that Amazon has neutered the device quite a bit. Installing native Google Play apps takes some effort. Once that was accomplished, the device was a bit more usable. The battery is poor at best. My children can get around 2 hours of game play and media playback at best. If you plan on using these for road-trips, like I did, a good charger is absolutely necessary.

Pricey but recommended

I think it's a bit pricey but great for the kids. Parents are happy the kids do not want to user their adult Fire now! Haven't "played" with it yet. Online order and pickup at BB. Very easy with no problems.

Durable for Children

My 3 year old can switch to her profile if the 6 year old was on that tablet last. The one problem is the limited memory space. We had to buy a SD card for both tablets.

Issues with you tube
