I bought this tablet for my 1 year old son for our trip to Disney. I did a lot of research and thought this would be the best tablet for him. After signing up for prime and really playing around with the tablet, it wasn't at all what we expected. We couldn't download apps like YouTube kids which was why we wanted a tablet. There were a lot of things we couldn't do on it, but it still seemed like a good tablet. I recently bought one for my niece.

I have 2 of these tablets for my kids and they love them. They are easy to set up for parental controls. They are easy for the kids to use and a great price.

Great buy. Did a lot of research before settling on the kindle kids edition. I bought one for each child hoping it would free up my iPad and phone. I love that they don't need wifi to play their games and they can download whatever app they want and I know it's kid friendly. Only issue I've had is the one kindle seems to use up the battery faster than the other one. Not a huge deal though. Definitely a great purchase, wish I had done it a long time ago!!

I purchased 2 Fire Kids Editions tablets. The parental controls were a little more difficult than I anticipated and could be simplified - or explained better. But the joy my granddaughters exhibited in opening the package and their using them are priceless!

My children (7 & 9) received tablets for Christmas that were purchased through Groupon. They both broke in less than 3-4 months time. We bought my daughter (9) this for her birthday in June and have been nothing but impressed. She has dropped it and it has kept going. It has great parental controls for both content and time limits. The free apps and books for a year, the no hassle return policy (through Amazon) if it breaks and the price were icing on the cake to help us make up our minds to purchase this. We will be purchasing one for my son (7) for his birthday in Sept.

I bought for my grandson this for his sixth birthday. I had some trouble setting it up but Amazon helped over the phone. I'm so glad I bought it.

Ideal for kids. The bumper really protects the tablet well. The memory fills up quickly. Get an SD card.

I got two for my two grandson's and they just love it. I like how when you push the start bottom you immediately see something unlike my two year old Kindle fire that takes some time to start.

These tablets are great for my kids which are 2 and 4. I don't have to worry that they are accessing something that they shouldn't be. The protective cushion is also very kid friendly and makes it easy and comfortable to hold. Would definitely buy again!

I don't like that my account has to be on home page and my children have to switch to their name on their kindles. There should be a way to access my account differently and have it hidden.

My daughter just can't get enough of it. So many great features including memory card slot. Very well built my daughter is a cluts and has spilled drinks on it several times, I just wipe it off with a baby wipe and there is no liquid damage to it yet!

My six year old loves it and I do to. The free time unlimited is great. Also like the feature that limits the time he/she can spend on it.

Good basic tablet for the cost. Does not compare to iPad in quality or speed but that's a different price point. This serves the purpose for a child and comes with worry free replacement.

I read other people's review before making the purchase. Capacity is an issue, but the micro card (additional purchase) helped immensely.

Purchased this after my son broke the iPad. Definitely a reasonable price for surfing the web and playing with the educational apps. You get one free year of downloads and 2 years of warranty. Screen quality is great and bright. My son enjoys it!

Great tablet for kids. Although the price my be a little high, you are getting the bang for the buck. Kids have dropped it many times and it is still like new. Would highly reccomend.

I was looking for a tablet for my 4 year old since my oldest daughter had an iPad but I didn't want to pay that price. I found this tablet with a pink case and my 4 year old loved it.

She's been dying to have a tablet and we actually purchased the same one for my son and they both love these tablets!

make sure to buy an SD Card when you buy your tablet. if you download to much it will take your internet off until you delete something.

Its a good tablet overall. Just remember it operates under amazon software. It does not have youtube kid app like ios and android.
