Great product. Easy to navigate even for children. We bought last years model for our daughter and have gotten a lot of use of it. We decided to upgrade to this version as the previous model had no expandable memory. Our daughter is 3+ years old. We (both parents work in IT) wanted let her experience technology young to prepare for a future where tablets and screens are going to dominate schools and workplaces. 10/10 would recommend.

Great for a 3 year old! If you do buy it you will need to buy a memory card because the games & movies take up all the space in the tablet! Once that happends it will kick you off wifi! Then you have to go and delete apps just so you can even connect to wifi! Other than that, the case it comes with is great! & it is a decent device for its price!

All of my kids have one. They love it. The protective case is great for falls and tumbles. 2 year warranty gives comfort if anything happens.

I bought this for my toddler for special times when he needs distraction. This does the job. I am pleased it has the automatic warranty. I do find it is not super user friend/intuitive to set up the child's account appropriately. Anyway... it is good for what we needed it for.

Better than a built in DVD player in cars!

We wanted to buy a newer family vehicle but had 'DVD player' in the "must have" category. We found the perfect car for the family but it was missing the must have DVD so we bought it anyway and decided with today technology, "DVD" is not the best fit for our Digital lifestyle. The kids have movies loaded and games to play and when you arrive, it comes with the kids as opposed to being built-in to the car!

Purchased for my Grandson who is two. The apps and games are exceptional. He is learning letters, numbers, shapes and colors. He is having fun and learning. Love that I can set the limits. We have downloaded books to read together and spend a lot of time together while exploring. Great tablet for a great price! A tablet that grows with him.

Only good with an SD Card

Got this as a Christmas gift for my kids and it's a complete waste of time without the SD card. It has absolutely no memory cause the space is eaten up by system requirements. It worked great for about 6 months but now it gives us nothing but problems and is more of a headache than it's worth. I've never had the patience for these things and now that my 3-yr-old is using it, I rely on my 10-yr-old son to help figure out the bugs. We have great wi-if and it still takes forever for the freetime games to download now, where it used to take no time at all. It's set up to automatically update so not sure if they make these things to fall apart on purpose so u will be forced to buy the latest version every year.

My son can use it better than I can. Camera could be better. It also would have been nice to get a screen protector with it.then it would have everything needed for kid to use right out of the box. Awesome tablet otherwise.

the tablet is good , easy for kids to navigate but the battery runs out quick when playing games or watching videos like 1.30 hour of continuing time. another problem is the update time. Many times it stop working freezing for several minutes. it takes turn off the tablet and restart to get it work again

I had an iPad before I got this tablet. My son had it for over 2 years, until the screen cracked. This tablet was a lot more economical then getting the screen fixed. Also the fact that it came with a case and a 2 yr warranty made it a no brainer. My son and I are very happy. I'm able to download the books , games and videos my son likes. This is a great product.

Bought this item about two weeks ago. Best Buy had the best price around. Gave as a gift to my 2 year old granddaughter. Lots of parental controls, time limits, what they watch and lock outs. Comes preloaded with plenty of child friendly shows, games and movies . On the plus side for adults they can use it as a tablet for themselves. Also great tablet cover as it is very child proof ( if dropped on floor) for example and grips on side for small hands

We purchased this tablet for my 4 year old for Christmas 2015. I was encouraged by the included 1 year membership in the Amazon "Free Time Unlimited" and kid/parent controls. However there were multiple critical problems with this device
1.) It is common to "unlock" a tablet with a swipe when you turn it on. This device does not unlock on the first, second, or sometime tenth swipe. Terribly frustrating for an adult. I admit less so for my 4 year old who seemed to enjoy swiping over and over and over with increasing speed.
2.) TERRIBLE Child interface - The child profile is preloaded with an enormous amount of content - at least it looks this way. The child is exposed to hundreds of apps and things to do, but they must be downloaded individually. Tap on Minnie Mouse funtime and you wait... My 4yr old is not good at waiting for this. And of course she gets tired of waiting and then tries to launch other apps that are not loaded. Things domino from here...
3.) Once new content is downloaded, the spinning wheel never completes itself and allows the child to use it. You must restart the device for the new content to become accessible. Way too complicated and not kid friendly.
4.) Should you manage to enter an app or book, all controls to exit are hidden. There is no physical button or silkscreen touch button like on other tablets. It gives the device a clean look, but it is not intuitive to swipe down from the top just to reveal onscreen navigation controls to go back or exit. I could be trained to this interface quirk, but why...
4.) The final straw for me: There are no controls to move or organize any of the content or icons within kid mode. It is just a jumble of random apps, some downloaded, some not. I would have suffered through it if I could arrange a section for my daughter to know - this is what works - the rest needs to be downloaded and requires parental involvement.
We returned it and plan to purchase a normal Samsung tablet that now comes with a kid mode that looks much simpler to use and manage.
Sorry Amazon - great idea, but you missed the mark. The only positive thing about this product was the foam case.
