WE had an old nexus7 that we let our daughter watch netflix on and when we replaced it with this for a christmas gift she couldnt have been happier. No more shutting down the internet every five minutes because she hit the wrong button in angry birds. Also the free year of Amazon Free time is a great value. My daughter loves all the suggested apps and now we don't have to supervise her to make sure she doesn't purchase anything on accident.

I read reviews and check out other options and this Amazon Fire Kids Edition was a great way to go.... correction... the BEST way to go.... !!!!!! All the apps, books, games.... the learning... simply amazing. .. my 17 yr old daughter and I found ourselves on it for an hour!! Best choice hands down!! Great product! So much my 9 yr old son can play and read and as he gets older I can change the settings. Thank you for a great product!!!

I bought this for my 4 year old son as an addition to the iPad that he already has. It was my hope that he would like it more than the iPad and give it back to his mom. It worked. This little tablet is perfect for his little hands, it comes with an amazing warranty that covers drops, breaks, spills anything for 2 years! I would purchase this again.

I bought these for use at my business. I purchased 4 tablets to be able to hand to children to use for entertainment while at my business. I did buy one of the Kids tablets - same tablet wrapped in a silicone protective case but the price was twice as much. We will see how often the tablets get dropped and broken. I figure I can buy two tablets without the case for the same price as one with. Time will tell which is the way to go.

I got the Kindle fire kids edition for my 2 year old so I could have my phone back to myself! I love that it is preloaded with anything and everything kids, but I am only giving it 4 starts because it does not have much atorage, so I will have to get a storage card for it. Other than that, I LOVE it and so does my son!

Bought this tablet for my granddaughter because blue was the only color left at the Best Buy by my house...had to return it and find a pink one at another store! So far has been good for a 2 1/2 year old

After reading several reviews on the Fire Kids Edition Kindle I was convinced this would be perfect for my 3 yr old granddaughter. I was not disappointed! She was delighted with her tablet and she is able to use it easily. The pink bumper case is a great deal as well and I never have to worry about her dropping it! She had already dropped it and nothing happened to the tablet! Great buy for the money!

My family finds this tablet very user friendly! It is extremely light weight and the case that comes with this package protects the tablet when it's dropped. We have experienced some problems with the Amazon free time, but I don't feel that warrants a negative review of the tablet itself. Strongly considering purchasing another for my daughter. This one was a gift for my 5 year old son and he loves it!

So I love that you get a two year worry free guarantee and a year of the free time with kindle. My only problem is the battery life and the getting back to the home screen that can be difficult. Great product for children as a beginning tablet

His Nabi recently broke and the store no longer carried the model. For a even exchange we purchased this tablet and he seems to love it...It has kid appropriate games and he is able to still go on you tube to watch his videos that he loves.

I made this purchase for my 3yo for she was taking over our cellphones and now she has her own tablet with her own apps which she enjoys so much. This tablet is user friendly for her, some of the apps we have to help her with because she's not reading yet but they're great for her age. I love the camera and the fact that I can add myself on this tablet also and limit her time usage.

Bought this tablet for my 2 daughters. After using the ipad they are used to being able to access things easily. This device has hang ups where apps need to install in order to use it and also some other hang ups in other areas. Basically it was good for the cost but not the best item around.

I love that the tablet allows me to restrict what I want to so it is appropriate for my son. I like that it is small and can be handled easily. I also like the variety of free games.

I'm super pleased with this for the price, comes with a 2 year worry free warranty, a foam case and is fully loaded with tons of Amazon content for kids and the ability to add some classroom endorsed learning apps that I already adored. The price made it a super good deal, the screen is gorgeous and the battery life is good, all things considered. My only criticism is speed. In a high speed world, almost no amount of lag is acceptable. This thing takes a while to download even the preloaded content and often needs to be power cycled before it'll open apps we loaded after purchase. For the price, I like it but it feels like it should be able to process faster. For me it's a no, for my elementary school child, it's a yes.

it is a great first tablet for my 2 year old a little slow some times when you try to touch to open apps but that could also be from a smudges on the screen. BUY A SCREEN PROTECTER! bumper case is great it has been dropped it and thrown several times... no cracks. sound is great. speed for streaming video is fantastic. It comes with a 2 year warranty included, awesome!

I had been watching my 6 year-old grandaughter spending most of the day on her parents' iPad mostly for playing games with little if any educational content or value. Amazon's Fire Kids edition comes prepackaged with a lot of excellent educational yet entertaining material that can grow in sophistication along with the kid's age. She loves it....Highly recommended.
