Apps get blurry

I “pause” a movie and then say “play” and it ask “what music would you like me to play”. It freezes programs in the middle. Last night it was playing one movie along with the sound track of a previous movie. I couldn’t get it to stop. I turned the tv off and on several times and it went back to the same thing. Only by unplugging everything did it stop. Maybe it’s not truly compatible with a Samsung tv.
