Didn't work had to return it was stuck on updating

Great fire stick with 4K. Quality is excellent. Only negative is that apps cannot download to exterior flash drive. Drive must be formatted interior Drive. Otherwise a nice streaming device.

Good streaming stick but after using for a while it gets hanging.

Needs to be restarted about once an hour to work properly. You can't binge watch with this thing -- eventually the stream will pause and the only way to get it, or any other streams to work again, is to restart the device. And then you have to sit and wait for 5 minutes. Absolutely infuriating. Also needs to be restarted first thing every time you go to use the device after it's been sleeping. This problem doesn't seem to affect everyone, but quite a lot of people, and Amazon's response is just that they're aware of the situation. Buy anything else.

Cannot get it to connect to the internet. It pulls up the internet service I have , asks for the password but will not connect. After two hours and speaking to the internet provider, decided to give up.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the new and improved 4K Max Fire TV stick. I was replacing older 2nd generation firesticks with these "top of the line firesticks" because my older ones either stopped working entirely or were running very slow. Although the new Firesticks are responding a bit faster and not buffering quite as badly as the old ones, I keep getting messages that storage is exhausted, although I'm running the same apps as the old firesticks where I never had a problem with exceeding storage quotas. So either these firesticks don't have as much memory as they claim to have, or the software is eating it all up at the expense of being able to run different apps on the device.

This item quit working after a week after it was hooked up. It was a Christmas gift so didn’t get hooked up until after Christmas. I tried taking it back to the Best Buy I purchased it from and was told I couldn’t return it. To add to that the customer service rep there at Best Buy was very rude and didn’t act like he wanted to help me at all.

remote drains new batteries in a day. The only way to use it is with the app on my phone unless I want to purchase new batteries everyday

I had it for a week, and the remote just started messing up. It also needs new batteries every day.

remote eats batteries daily. have to reset and restart several times to get to come on. poor quality product

I’m assuming I purchased a bad one but this one is blowing through batteries every 3 to 4 days.

The stick works fine but the remote needs new batteries installed every day to be able to use it???

Thought this toted that the processor is much faster than regular. Wrong! Buffers more than ever.

Horrible experience, was wanting to upgrade my fire tv stick 4K to the max. Horrible experience, but not at first, my experience of a inferior product happened after I turned my tv and turned it on this morning. Experience is that when I went to turn the tv off it also completely shut off the fire stick and would have to unplug and replug the the fire tv back in to get it to work, I am returning for a refund.

The stick is difficult to use. The remote is also not as convenient as Roku app.

Looking to set this thing up on one of my many televisions but I’m having install challenges. So it still in the box.

Remote not working post all configuration with tv even for a 20 m distance

I tslked to one person for about 45 minutes. She downloaded the app so she could take control of my machine then transferred control to a tech person who was supposed to call me back and fix my VPM connection. No one called for 2 hours then they hung up after one ring before i could answer. I ended session. I DID NOT LIKE YOU HAVING CONTROL OF MY MACHINE WHEN YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING.
