Everything pretty much instant. Love the gui, all the features, plenty of storage. Voice commands could use some work but I hardly use that. Great picture and sound. One thing I do hate is how Amazon makes you pick a profile EVERY TIME you turn it on. You can't pick a default anymore. Still, for the price this is a winner.
