We use this for just about everything. It will run any app that you need it to, and the 4K is stunning. The only downside I see is the UI, which seems a little messy. If that bothers you, definitely go for the Roku. If you are wanting an Amazon connected device however this one is the way to go!

Excellent product for keeping my old flat screen Samsung alive for a couple more years. The Samsung still has an amazing picture. The Amazon fire stick is so easy to set up

love this! I love not having such a complicated remote wondering what this button does or that one. Easy to turn on and off the tv and having the volume and mute is a plus compared to the older versions. You can do so much with this fire stick you'd be crazy to go back to a regular tv service! With Amazon Fire Stick you can upload your photos to amazon and have them playing as a screensaver when it's not in use. You can download apps off of amazon and watch your tv service provider (we have ATT tv NOW) or YouTube, or any app through amazon, just send it to the fire stick and you can sit back and watch your favorite show. I would definitely recommend this to someone (were actually giving one to the In-Laws!) While you're picking this up at Best Buy grab a silicone cover (Insignia makes a teal and orange one), it will help in not wearing down the back of the remote.

Purchased as a gift for in laws who are looking to remove cable bills. So far they have loved it. Setup was easy, they did it themselves, and they are pleased with the performance. Paired with a Plex server or sling tv and Netflix/Hulu/prime, you really have nearly all the content you need! Only comment is to consider smart home integration. Fire stick may not be the best choice for households running Google smart home equipment. Crosstalk is not great between these brands. This lack of cross platform support is why I gave 4 stars.

Upgraded from the 1080p version, this version supports 4K resolution (yes it still works with 1080p). It's also faster and has better transitions when moving through menus and an improved remote control.. Grab this over the older version even if you don't have a 4K TV, it's worth the extra $10

I had the first version and my movies kept pausing and the screen would go grey I could no long see the icons. I would have to reboot the old version at least 10 times. Now with this version the pictures are much clearer.

Setups really quick & syncs to current Amazon subscriptions with ease. Got it to run Hulu Live because TV was 1 year older than Hulu Live allowed. Now we got Hulu, Amazon & Netflix to control with ease. Don't think we'll even need the smart TV or Bluray functions any longer.

Works really and easy to set up. I get HBO max and Amazon TV. You can get news and other things also like Starz , Netflex and regular TV. Cheaper than cable and you can choose only what you really want not all the junk stations that come with cable.

I recently cut the cable tv cord and went with this 4k fire stick and couldn't be happier. I like that you can speak into it and it helps you find the shows you are looking for quickly and easily, plus I'm saving $80. a month by not having cable!

You can’t go wrong with an Amazon fire stick 4K, The quality craftsmanship and ease of use of this product easily makes it one of the better media streaming devices in the market. It’s very affordable and does the same thing that many other smart devices do.

Simple Setup, Very Easy to Use. I like that it also controls the volume to my Samsung SoundBar (Connected to my Samsung 6 Series via Optical Cable). I have both this device as well as the Apple TV. I pretty much bounce back and forth between the two.

The new firestick works great, definitely a big jump over the earlier models. The buffering is almost totally eliminated. It's much faster too. I love how it immediately connected the remote to the TV, allowing me to control both volume and power.

The faster response navigating on this over the first generation Amazon Fire Stick is astounding. The addition of the volume controls (why they were left off the original is still confusing) is reason enough to buy this.

Fire sticks are so powerful and super easy to use. you can have any streaming service on the fire stick and it would run smoothly

I had the version 3 of the fire, I upgrade to this the 4 version as I want to have the control remote that can manipulate the TV volume and plus things. Is a great change, but for what I think in general is that they need to put at least 16gb of memory on the fire sticks

If you are keen on the small amazon ecosystem then this is a great streaming device. My only issues with it is there is currently no YouTube TV, which should be remedied in the fall from what I understand, there is no access to Vudu, which is where a lot of my movies are, and while it says it has Dolby Atmos when I go to activate it in settings there is no option for Dolby Atmos. I just think that both Apple TV, if you are in Apples ecosystem, or Roku are better options. I have a LG C8 OLED and it just seems that the videos through the Fire TV are darker. I prefer a little brighter image. I still use it from time to time, but I rely on my Apple TV and Roku more. Even my Chromecast gets more use, but I like the fact that the Fire Tv has a real nice remote that I can control my sound bars volume with. Also my other issue with the Fire TV as opposed to other streaming devices is your movies are displayed in carousel format instead of grid format and there’s no way to change the view to A-Z or Date released or anything. Best I can tell it is listed in the order they were added which makes it hard to find movies that you added a while ago. Anyway that’s my 2 cents.

I am so impressed with this device. The dialogue box i very easy to use and the picture is clear. I haven't used the voice-prompt but my friends have and it is super easy. The remote is nice and sleek and easy to use. I am very happy with my purchase!

Easy to use and easy to lose. This gen comes with the volume so I can lower and higher the volume from the same control as opposed to going back to the tv remote to chin gong the volume on a warm summer day.

This Fire TV Stick is easy to used, its the only remote I have to use for my TV. Its more than I expected. I am so glad I purchased 2 of them.

Having done away with cable tv years ago, I had always used a ROKU for my streaming needs. I thought I would give the Fire TV Stick 4K because of it's speed, and good reviews. It was easy to set up, and is much faster than my ROKU I use. I bought it on sale, and the price couldn't be beat.
