    Way better than the older version. Updates the cpu chip, so it runs much smoother. Highly recommend this stick. Worth the upgrade price.

    The Fire Stick 4K is wonderful when it works. Easy to use and easy to program. It works very well with the Fire TV Recast. I have an older version of the Fire TV 4K that has worked flawlessly for the past couple of years. This new version has been a disappointment. The voice can get out of sync with the picture, requiring a restart to fix. The unit will blackout requiring removal of the ac power adapter and the use of a usb power port. The use of the usb power port will not allow for firmware updates. All I can hope for is that future firmware updates will fixes these issues. Until then save your money and wait for a better unit.
