Great streaming media player. I have 4 of these! New upgraded TVs purchased from Best Buy so you need the 4K Fire Sticks. Super flexible to control multiple devices so this can become a universal remote (receiver, TV, etc.). No longer need my big clunky uni remote! Plus Amazon was back order and could walk into Best Buy!

We have had one of the original fire sticks for a while. I thought the slowness was something that was just a reality of our bandwidth situation. I bought a couple new sticks from BB and was AMAZED at what we received. MUCH better in EVERY WAY. If you don't have the latest generation Fire Stick, get one. It's fast, has great new features and the picture quality is perfect.

I received a New 60 inch Oled 4k tv and wanted to use some of the streaming services however they did not work with my new smart tv. I called the manufacturer and recommended I get this. I did and it works great. I need to purchase an additional one for the tv in my bedroom. Easy to use and there is a wealth of added channels to view.

The remote is a huge improvement. The power button on the remote can turn on my tv, my receiver, fire stick, and switch the inputs automatically so the fire stick is on screen and ready to go with just one click of the power button. It's really nice. This is how it should have been all along. It gets even better though... lets say my TV is already on, and my receiver is set to a different input such as my FIOS tv box? All you do is click the home button on the remote and the remote switches the receiver to the correct hdmi input on the receiver for the fire stick! One remote to rule them all, and yes it controls volume on the receiver too! This is excellent. It's highly configurable. The setup is quite nice. You can define which inputs get picked when hitting the power and home button. You can define which device the volume buttons control. Amazon has done a great job with the Fire Stick 4K. It's faster than previous fire sticks. No more menu lag. Things are smoother and faster overall. This makes my TV experience much more enjoyable

This is my first time to cut cable service and use a fire stick to be able to stream on a non-smart TV. The item arrived within the projected arrival date. The instructions were easy to follow and the fire stick is pretty simple to use. The Alexa Voice Remote is an added feature that makes it a really convenient tool.

I have tried every streaming media device from all manufacturers. This is by far the best and fastest device yet, even better than the firetv cube. As an added bonus it comes with the new remote containing the volume control buttons which in itself costs $20. I use it exclusively for PLEX and it is one of the faster devices for this application. Definitely recommended.

Replacing an old roku device. This is a very good unit.Voice control ,volume control and after syncing to my tv turns off and on my tv. Price of 22 dollars was totally worth it.

This is GREAT! I love the fact that I don't need another TV remote (since it easily connects to the TV) and all my streaming services are available in one simple location. I also have a Roku product which I like the simplicity of slightly more when compared to the FireTV, but overall I am very happy with the FireTV.

Omg I can’t tell you enough how much I love this! I got rid of my cable in exchange for this fire stick and it is SOO incredibly life changing. I can play games on it and it even has its own custom trivia games and more! It’s so easy to plug in and assemble, instructions are so clear and I got a bunch of free subscriptions with it. What are you doing with a cable?! Just get rid of that and get the fire tv stick! Please I’m not saying this out of randomness, I’m saying it out of my heart! Definitely worth the 40 dollars I think it was? Yeah defiantly worth it, I’m using it right now as I type! I love talking, whispering, and making jokes with Alexa, she’s funny-ish… anyways just buy it, like seriously.

Reason for Purchase: I've had my computer hooked up to my TV via HDMI to not only have a big computer monitor in our living room, but also to go online to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc. Heard of this and had to rush to research it. Review: Absolutely awesome. If you are reading this, trust me, you need it and should get it (don't max out your credit card though! Buy cash instead). This is a lifesaver and it so helps that it has the Alexa type feature. Easy to say "terminator 2" and she says "getting that from YouTube " or whatever other app has what you ask for. If you have a Netflix, Disney+, and your dad's Amazon Prime account, you'll be packed with more to watch than your waking eyes can take. Super easy to use and if it ever gives you issues, simply turn off the TV and turn it back on, or perform the easy reset on the remote which is simply: Hold down the Select button for 5 seconds to put the remote into pair mode. Hold down the Select + Play buttons together for 5 seconds to Restart the device. Would I buy it again? YUP! I came back and bought another one for my room TV. I don't think I'll ever be able to have TV without this. Buy it now!

I bought this Fire TV Stick 4K during the Thanksgiving week. It was on sale and I wanted to try to compare the difference with my old Fire TV stick. It was easy to setup and auto upgrade with the programs that I have on my old Fire TV stick. It seems like it works faster than my old set. Will definitely keep it.

We decided to shut off our directv and go with streaming. Because one of out tvs is not a smart tv this works just like it is. Its very essy to set up and has voice command. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I owned the initial firestick and had used it regularly for years. A remote issue forced us to replace the unit, and I'm so glad we did! The responsiveness and speed of the new version is amazing! No more lagging or double click. The new remote is also a huge upgrade with the voice control option. It's a must have!

This is the fastest and smoothest version of the FireTV stick. Easy to install. Amazon alexa comes up easily at the touch of the voice button, im actually able to find things quickly that way...faster than ever before. Very good, solid, working TV streaming device from Amazon, i rate excellent.

I'm a huge fan of firesticks and decided to upgrade to the 4k version. The difference in speed and picture quality is what I was looking for and I am not disappointed. Glad I made the decision to finally upgrade.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick was so simple to install on my Sharp TV, just plug into one of the USB slots, follow clear on-screen setup prompts, and you're streaming in no time. Content streams without interruption or delay. Excellent picture. Access to all streaming services (except Apple). Can't imagine what would be gained by a higher priced streaming device.

Whats can I say?? It's the fire stick enough said. Very affordable and gets the job done if you are trying to move away from "the cord" to streaming. I have 4 of these in my home and it does a great job. Only had one small technical problem within the past 3 years of owning the FS and Amazon quickly resolved it.

We decided to get this because it was on sale for 50% for one of the holiday weekends. That was the best decision we’ve made in a long time. This stick is faster than the regular one and the updated remote makes it so convenient to change the volume and turn the tv on and off.

The Fire Stick 4K is the newest version. It was a piece of cake to set up but their directions are terrible. Go to YouTube and watch a video. It will save you the frustration. YouTube is also a great place to find the tips on how and what apps to download to make your viewing pleasure rewarding. Setup time was about 20 minutes. Just make sure you have enough internet bandwidth to watch the shows/movies you want. Buffering is real and is a killjoy to your TV watching. My only complaint is the memory. You will need to clear the cache frequently to watch movies if you download just a handful of apps.
