I had contemplated buying a firestick for about 2-3 years, but never took the plunge. Once I did, I wish I had acted sooner. Now, I had purchased a 4K TV, so of course, I need a 4K firestick. What made this stick better is of course the 4K resolution, but also the power and volume controls on the firestick as well. I cut the cord and I’m not going back

This device is easy to use and fast to go where I need it to go.

FireStick 4k is the best way to “cut the cord”. For the past 2-3 years we have used these devices in every room that have a TV in for the whole house. No more cable box/dvr. No more outrageous cable tv subscription either. We switched to FireStick and have a YouTubeTV, Netflix, Hulu (came with my cellular plan), HBO max and a handful of others and have saved so much money. The interface on this device is high quality and snappy. I love that I can sync my Apple EarPods to these devices and watch shows without desturbing others. The screensaver function is awesome as well. When not watching shows the TV is showing our family photos. For the price point and future savings, the FireStick is the best!

I am very pleased with the Fire TV Sticks that I purchased. I have been able to "cut the cord" with subscription television. The system was a bit time consuming to set up; however, once set up, it works just fine. When I had issues I was able to call Amazon and they walked me through resetting the stick. This is a great option compared to cable!

Love it, Love it, Love it. I use my Amazon Firestick everyday. I can watch my favorite old TV Show, and Game Show, Sports, and of course movies.Too bad they don’t have TV Show Webster on there. Anyway I love it, picture nice and clear, audio is good quality. Thinking about buying another one for the other room. Enjoy.

Decided to go with the 4K Stick because of all it offers when I finally, bit da bullet, and left Comcast, I'm not sorry! There is so much excellent tutorial type videos on U Tube that taught me what and how to do it. If you can find a good buy on their new Cube, I'd recommend it. I have since moved UP the the Nvidia Shield but have not removed my 4K Stick [insurance]!

The Fire Stick offers streaming options not available on many other streaming devices. In addition to traditional things like Netflix, Prime Video, Pluto, and Hulu, the Fire Stick can act as a Kodi Box which lets you view many free movies and television shows. For more on Kodi, Google Kodi software. The Fire Stick loads quickly and provides excellent picture quality.

I don’t write reviews often, but I learned a few tricks that solved issues I’ve had over the years. I hope this helps others with seemingly unsolved issues with firesticks. Firstly I’ve been using firesticks even before 4K TVs and they’ve almost always have worked well. The occasional restart/reboot on older models were something my family got used to. I eventually replaced all older units with this 4K version. And now never have to reboot. Although this has slightly better remote function, it’s essentially the same as the 2018/2019 version. The 4K Max has the spec bump and quicker less congested WiFi 6 configurations. Okay, so my biggest gripe with the firestick had to do with it not always playing HDR or Dolby Vision, which defeats the purpose of it being a 4K model. I’ve scoured tons of forums and looked at countless YouTube videos regarding this. But either the solutions didn’t work, or they would only be HDR 10 when the nicer Dolby Vision was available.
