Best way to cut the cord from cable tv

For the past 2-3 years we have used these devices in every room that have a TV in for the whole house. No more cable box/dvr. No more outrageous cable tv subscription either. We switched to FireStick and have a YouTubeTV, Netflix, Hulu (came with my cellular plan), HBO max and a handful of others and have saved so much money. The interface on this device is high quality and snappy. I love that I can sync my Apple EarPods to these devices and watch shows without desturbing others. The screensaver function is awesome as well. When not watching shows the TV is showing our family photos. For the price point and future savings, the FireStick is the best!

Excellent streaming device

The Alexa voice command is great yet the person must speak slowly. I occasionally talk fast and have to start over yet isn't the stick's fault. There are several built in channels that require a cable or satellite login to watch. This firestick is a great addition to cable or satellite in case either goes out. There are other ways to use the stick.

User friendly

The set up was extremely easy and the menu is very user friendly. I love that you can search by category such as TV shows, movies, comedies, family common and kids. My 8 year old has no problem maneuvering. I will be buying more. I downloaded the apps for various television stations and log in with my existing user ID and password for my cable TV provider works like a charm

Great Streaming device

PIcked it up - same day watching all kinds of stuff on my TV. The drawback is all the preinstalled applications and constant clickbait marked "FREE" but ultimately you must buy. Solved by sideloading much more useful applications than those offered in the amazon store.

Worth the Money to get the apps

My Samsung did not have the Paramount or Peacock app and with the Fire Stick I can get the apps and more. Was a breeze to install.

Fire TV Stick with several extras

I purchased a Fire TV Stick to fix this problem. I now get Netflix and of course love the picture quality I of the picture. It has several other features such as Alexa, Dolby vision and other streaming media. I really like it.

It’s fast, small, works with Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos. The remote will also control the volume on your TV or audio receiver. The voice search works well also.

Amazon - Fire TV Stick 4K with Alexa Voice

I finally purchased one when i moved into a new home and it has exceeded my expectations. I can't imagine how i ever lived without one all of this time. One of the best features I like about it is that you can add additional apps and streaming services all under one platform.
