I picked this up for the television in my kids room. I wanted something with a simple remote that they wouldn't struggle with, as well as a minimal footprint. This hit both of those marks and more! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also acts as a remote for the television. With the addition of a couple apps and some parental locks to keep them from purchasing it has solved every media demand that they have for their room.

This is my favorite way to add streaming to a non smart tv. Very easy to use and great remote that will work most TV’s and audio equipment. I’ve installed many of these for elderly customers even on smart TVs because of ease of operation.

I am very impressed with the quality of this product. It even seems to enhance the sound quality of my "home theater", as well as the picture quality of my monitor. Since the Firestick controls my receiver and TV, the only time I need to use my universal remote now is when I want to watch a blu-ray movie or play a CD. I wasn't thrilled to have to buy it, but it was a good purchase, and not too expensive.

This is an excellent streaming stick. It is such an improvement over the first generation of the product and very much worth its cost. It processes data quickly, never has required a reset of any type, and the voice control makes it easy to operate. It is especially nice to have the TV volume and mute controls right on this stick's remote.

I have been using Firesticks for streaming for a few years now, and in the past I had encountered some buffering issues here and there. This new Firestick 4K is a huge improvement over the previous generation! I really notice the difference in the speed when loading APK's, and streaming on this device. Not quite the beast that Nvidia Shield is, but at this price point you can't beat it! I would recommend it to anybody.

I have been hesitant to do the whole Amazon / Alexa fire stick for streaming for some years now. I finally purchased one when i moved into a new home and it has exceeded my expectations. I can't imagine how i ever lived without one all of this time. One of the best features I like about it is that you can add additional apps and streaming services all under one platform.

Very good streaming device. Good price, excellent availability. PIcked it up - same day watching all kinds of stuff on my TV. The drawback is all the preinstalled applications and constant clickbait marked "FREE" but ultimately you must buy. Solved by sideloading much more useful applications than those offered in the amazon store.
