Other reviews said adding the Fire Stick made streaming so much better than just using a smart tv or smart DVD player, and they were right. Once set up, streaming (with the 4K stick) is near perfect. And this is using DSL, which won't stream at all on my smart tv and smart dvd player. Setting up each app takes a little time and can get a little frustrating at times as each app requires you to do different things to sign in. But once you're done you don't have to do anything again other than launch the app. The 4K Fire Stick user interface is not the friendliest, but you can figure it out after repeated use. That is the one thing I hope they improve in subsequent upgrades. Otherwise I like using it.

The 4K version of the Fire Stick is much snappier and provides a better all around picture quality. I really love the feature of HDR on all the time. The Fire Stick 4K has loads of apps with very good capacity. I currently use it to watch Sling TV daily. No Wifi dropouts, or buffering issues due to excellent home internet service. Great all round buy. Would definitely recommend for home media enthusiast.

I absolutely love it. So many tv stations for free. Movie, sports, documentary, scifi, live tv you name it it is there. You just need to program the right app that has what you want. It's the best purchase I made for my tv. I would recommend this fire stick to everyone. You can do so much with it. I'm still learning all the great stuff it has to offer.

Upgrade from my old firestick. Faster and no lag. Also has volume buttons!

It is a great device! I love the quality and the different things you can do with it. I DONT need a smart T.V. because you can do the same thing with this device. Finally, I can download things without worrying about a virus.

FireStick 4k is the best way to “cut the cord”. For the past 2-3 years we have used these devices in every room that have a TV in for the whole house. No more cable box/dvr. No more outrageous cable tv subscription either. We switched to FireStick and have a YouTubeTV, Netflix, Hulu (came with my cellular plan), HBO max and a handful of others and have saved so much money. The interface on this device is high quality and snappy. I love that I can sync my Apple EarPods to these devices and watch shows without desturbing others. The screensaver function is awesome as well. When not watching shows the TV is showing our family photos. For the price point and future savings, the FireStick is the best!

I have had a Fire Stick 2nd gen that had become terribly slow and felt it was time for an upgrade. I went with this one and it is almost lighting fast in comparison. I got a Fire Tv Dvr for air tv from a garage sale that pairs nicely with the stick. I also got it on a really good sale.

The Firestick 4K is an excellent upgrade for firestick. Remote has power and volume buttons.

Improved remote functions that allow user to power the Firestick on or off and to adjust the volume are definitely a geeat additon. Not to mention watching content in 4K is a great step up, overall very pleased with purchase, especially at the sale price.
