I had the new fire stick setup in about 30 minutes, linked to my account, and all the programs I use installed. It works just as expected and I'd recommend getting one if you're interested in cutting the cord and saving some serious money.

The 4K looks great n my new tv and the streaming is much smoother, little to no buffering issues.

Great 4K streaming

Simple and straightforward to use. Voice response very good. Quality of the 4k stream is excellent (based on an LG OLED TV). Not perfect (but perfectly usable) interface. Also would give a similar review to integration and use with a Firecast. Would purchase again and recommend.

Glad I got the 4K, even without a 4K tv

I bought the 4K stick for if/when I do eventually get the 4K tv, but getting some picture-quality benefits now regardless.

Excellent for streaming movies, shows etc

Plus when ordering thru Amazon you can get shipping credits applied your movie rentals, purchases. I have the Firestick on every TV in the house and can download apps as well including Netflix plus Amazon has exclusive shows, movies that are very good too. Would highly recommend it and cut the cable cord too.

DON'T EXPECT 4K IF YOUR TV IS "OLDER"...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I bought this was because it was on sale for $35 during Christmas, and my original Firestick was laggy and almost unusable. I figured the 4K would be great on my 4K Vizio (2015 M series) TV. Turns out, the Firestick 4K only supports HDPC 2.2, of which is only found on the newer TVs. My Vizio is "older" (3 years) and is only HDCP 1.4 compliant. Another consequence of planned obsolescence... So much for viewing things in 4K. On a positive note, the Firestick 4K does seem smoother when navigating menus and quicker to load. I also enjoy the built in volume controls on the remote.

One remote dead of the 2 had to return. But no issues store took it right back. Overall I like the product. Not as fast as a smart tv. There is lag times when accessing menus. I say yes worth the price
