I don’t write reviews often, but I learned a few tricks that solved issues I’ve had over the years. I hope this helps others with seemingly unsolved issues with firesticks. Firstly I’ve been using firesticks even before 4K TVs and they’ve almost always have worked well. The occasional restart/reboot on older models were something my family got used to. I eventually replaced all older units with this 4K version. And now never have to reboot. Although this has slightly better remote function, it’s essentially the same as the 2018/2019 version. The 4K Max has the spec bump and quicker less congested WiFi 6 configurations. Okay, so my biggest gripe with the firestick had to do with it not always playing HDR or Dolby Vision, which defeats the purpose of it being a 4K model. I’ve scoured tons of forums and looked at countless YouTube videos regarding this. But either the solutions didn’t work, or they would only be HDR 10 when the nicer Dolby Vision was available.

4K streaming device for $30 bucks yes please! Easy to use and works great!

The new Amazon 4k firestick is an excellent streamer. It is able to stream 4k video if you have wireless AC or AX. You will need an Amazon account (with prime if you want the streaming freebies Amazon throws in). This device is fast, the interface responsive and easy to navigate. For the money this is the best you can get. There are other more expensive devices that are slightly better but not much.

Bought 2 of these for the house. One remote dead of the 2 had to return. But no issues store took it right back. Overall I like the product. Not as fast as a smart tv. There is lag times when accessing menus. I say yes worth the price

I DON'T HAVE CABLE SO THIS IS MY ENTERTAINMENT ALONG WITH OVER THE AIR ANTENNA. I CHECK FOR FREE CHANNELS TO DOWNLOAD AND HAVE FOUND MORE THAN ENOUGH TO KEEP ME ENTERTAINED WITH MOVIES I HAVEN'T HEARD OF AND OLD TV SHOWS TO WATCH. VOICE CONTROL AND VOLUME CONTROL ON THE REMOTE IS AN ADDED BONUS!!!!

I don't have a 4K tv, but the picture quality with the 4K stick is noticeably better than regular tv. I bought the 4K stick for if/when I do eventually get the 4K tv, but getting some picture-quality benefits now regardless.

Easy to install and worth the price Great streaming device.

This is great for when you’re traveling. I’m able to keep up with all of my favorite shows. I can also browse YouTube with it when I’m bored. The picture is high quality and as long as the internet is good there’s no lag or choppy picture. The Alexa voice remate helps speed along channel surfing. I’m glad I purchased this fire stick and it will always go with me when traveling.

Have a few of these units. The quality of the interface is really nice. The ease of use is great. Still working on improving the seamless nature of Fire TV and alexa echos. Currently have this one hooked to an 55" LG. It works really well. One issue, is the lack of casting, but not a big issue. Still can mirror if needed.
