EXPLANATION: The TV with the Fire Stick 4k plugged into it was turned off, but I noticed this device was using significant bandwidth in my EERO management app. So, I blocked it on the router. The bandwidth usage did not change, but the device (fire stick 4k) name kept changing: "amazon-(hex)" to "android-1" to "android-2" to "android-3" to "android-4" before I unplugged it from power. This device had an open audio stream recording 24/7, even turned off. I do not recommend this device or anything with a microphone from Amazon period. They back door in the federal govt to spy on people. Unfortunately, this includes my once favorite router co. EERO. Google is just as bad, so that leaves us with very few options in the smart home product offering(s).
