What a frustrating device this is. If your interest in just streaming video services, it might suit your needs. In that respect, however, this Fire TV Stick is no better than the Roku stick I've had for years. The reason I bought this product is to be able to stream Amazon HD Music and at that task this product performs poorly. It does not help that Amazon provides basically no support outside of an online forum where their customer service reps have very little knowledge. Here are my major issues: 1. Out of the box, this product is not set to deliver the highest quality audio. Not only does the consumer need to go into settings for the Fire Stick to tell it to play the best quality audio, but then you need to go into the settings in the Amazon Music app itself to tell it to play the highest quality audio available. 2. Even after making those settings, at best I might get 3 or 4 songs in a row playing at cd-level quality or higher. The next track would drop down to a lossy (compressed) version. It isn't that the track wasn't available in a higher resolution; it's that either this product or the app would decide to downgrade the audio every 10-15 minutes, even though I was way more than enough bandwidth to stream HD video and audio. 3. It is *impossible* to listen to Atmos music on this product unless you believe that you are getting the Atmos experience out of headphones or a small, all-in-one speaker array. You cannot plug this into an AVR and listen to Atmos music via your home theater speakers; you can only get stereo if you listen that way. Even though this product is marketed as featuring Atmos capability, it really should say "for movies only." I am a PC/Android guy through and through. I've never owned an Apple product in my entire life. I finally bought an Apple TV device and guess what? Apple Music automatically plays Atmos in surround on my home theater without me needing to go into any settings. It just works. I'm still not a fan of Apple for a variety of reasons, but at least in this case they made a device that does what it should unlike this poor product. Granted, the Apple stick costs about four times as much but I would have been happy to have stayed with Amazon, its hardware and music app if they worked properly. Paying a discounted price for something that doesn't work properly isn't a bargain but rather a waste of money.

This works great except for the Hulu live. Not sure why.

Great to have and use but the fire stick does get a little warm when left plug in to the tv.

Eventhough I prefer the Fire Cube, this Fire Stick is a great alternative.
