I used to love Fire TV Stick 4K devices. Then they updated their operating system to include impossibly more ads, and shrunk the space for apps on the home screen. I've switched off of them entirely.

I’ve been buying from Best Buy for years. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. It still has not been resolved for 3 weeks now. I ordered 3 FireSticks and it was supposed to be delivered by OnTrac. The day of delivery, I got a text saying that it was delivered. I walked out of my house, looked all over, checked with my neighbors, no package anywhere. I immediately contacted OnTrac. After a week of OnTrac investigating, they informed me to contact Best Buy. Best Buy attempted to reorder. I only received part of my shipment and was promised a refund for one of the items. Still haven’t received the refund yet

This is a terrible devise which totally destroyed my LG OLED TV after 10 min of installation . My absolutely great new LG OLED TV which was perfectly working was destroyed because of Fire Stick devise . It started flickering , flashing, blinking and went totally dark and stoped working at all . We called technical support to fix our LG OLED and nothing could be done . It was being the repairs !!!!! Thank you very much for such a “ wonderful” devise !

I have been suffering through using this device for about 9 months. The performance is horrid. it works when it wants to. I frequently have to restart the device to watch anything. The worst problem is when I try to watch You Tube TV. It does not have the app. I have to use the browser to watch. Only the Silk browser lets me do that. The other browsers try to download the app only to find it is not compatible. The Silk browser does not let me scroll down the screen in order to select channels. So picking out the show I want can be problematic. Recently they added a Google you tube app (not the same thing). Which was important because they only had about 6 apps for that.

Worked on most apps but the one I wanted it for, espn+, the picture kept buffering. Returned and bought new tv. ESPN + works fine with new tv so it wasn’t an Wi-Fi problem

I loved my firestick, not even a month old and everytime i get on hulu it resets after 10 min.. I wouldve (and had) recommended this to my friends and family. But now feeling regret. Sucks!!! I liked this better than chromecast, and roku.. ugh

I owned an X950G and X900E Sony TV. I decided to purchase this product to stream the Super Bowl in 4K HDR. It was working fine for a whole day then all of a sudden both my TVs were stuck in reboot mode. I panicked and reset my TVs but it did not solve the issue. I thought it was a bad remote for the TV since it seemed like it was controlling itself with trying to restart constantly. I took off the battery for the TV remotes but to no avail. I finally tried to remove the battery for the fire stick TV; it solved the problem and my TVs were working back to normal. Be warned if you are a Sony TV user this might happen as well.

Tried to install myself as is advertised. The Fire TV Stick would not connect to my Netgear modem 10' away. Next, called a tech service other than Geek Squad because Geek Squad did not answer the phone. The technician failed in his attempt. I finally get through to Geek Squad and explain my dilemma and rather than offer assistance he recommended I return both Fire TV Sticks, so I did. I was a waste of money but more importantly a waste of time and left a bad taste in my mouth for Best Buy and the Geek Squad. I think next purchase I will give Abt Electronics a shot. Highly disappointed!

I like the way it works, lots of viewing options but it constantly gives me Network Connection Errors while I am watching a show. Very frustrating to say the least. Returning it for a different model.

It works well. I'd give it 5 stars if it could incorporate a sleep timer for shutting it off. Still have to use 2 remotes for that.

i purchased the fire stick to watch Dish TV. Even though it says 4K the picture quality was poor and I did not like the functionality. So glad I purchased it at best buy so the return was easy

updates are unable to be pulled while in use menu system unintuitive homepage often doesnt load icons Apps like disney+ have stopped connecting despite internet and reinstalling.

IT WORKED ONE WEEK AND THEN IT STOPPED WORKING, REGARDLESS OF THE DOWNLOAD INFORMATION THAT OBTAINED FROM YOUTUBE ON HOW TO MAKE IT WORK AND UTILIZE ITS PURPOSE. WISH TO return IT OR REPLACE IT

Works great for my non smart tv but remote is draining batteries in two days.

could not work with spectrum cable service app. seems ok other than that

I purchased this item with excitement to finally be able to watch Netflix and the remote did not work, nor did the batteries that came with them. I was unable to connect and start anything up due to the remote being defective.
