    Bad experience with FIRESTICK

    Worked for 3 weeks then our LG TV quit working. Thinking due to FIRESTICK due to reconnecting to another LG & started interfering with intermittent blank screen. Immediately removed & 2nd TV working normal. 1st TV insert never recovered.

    Worked well for the first few months and by the forth it just stopped working. Changed the batteries several times to make sure that wasn’t it. All it does and turn on and off. Remote is useless.

    Unable to install and turn on. Reviewed internet resources and the complexity of trying "work arounds" was daunting. Wife says we might have to buy a new TV. Too complicated a process for an old dog like me.

    Don't buy this product went out in less than 3 months, Best Buy will not send good product. Their return was 22 days makes no sense most places are 90 days. Do not but product is no good.

    In the first place, we had trouble setting it up. Then we had to have Geek Squad come out to set it up. The unit didn't work. Then we found out that Fire TV Stick is not for us. Not a good unit for my husband to try to learn how to use. We returned it.

    Bought 3, 2 gen 3 2021 models and the newest 4k fire sticks, the 2 gen 3 fire sticks lasted about a month couldn't return very disappointing will not shop at bestbuy after that experience,

    We tried two of these and neither worked properly. The first one worked for 4-5 days then just froze up and would not respond. The second one never worked. The remote would not pare with the device.

    At this moment it's not working, it started off working I turned it off went out of town can back won't come on ( I live along so when I left my house was locked up so I don't know what's wrong will be checking the 2nd one I got around the same time

    I did not do enough research. As I was installing this device, which was pretty easy, I discovered I needed to get an Amazon account to make it work. I have not done this as I am considering my options.

    Disappointed. Bought to replace what I thought was a failing Fire stick. Same problems of having to reset the whole stick due to judder problems. Buy a ROKU!

    Highly regret this purchase. Should have gone with a Roku. This was pretty cheap but it's awful. The software sucks, the controller doesn't work half the time, audio is constantly muted. I always have to reboot it. I regret this purchase

      Hello SuvSmiley! Thank you so much for your valued feedback on your Fire Stick 4K! This device has a low power mode that it goes into in order to save on power, be eco friendly, and to save wear and tear on your TV screen which is why it goes to a black low power screen when not in use. The latest 2 models of Fire TV device (Fire Stick 4K Max and Fire Cube) have an added Ambient Mode that allows you to set a screen of artwork, photos, graphics, etc that you can have running when in standby instead but this device is not currently equipped with that feature. Here are a few troubleshooting tips for you to try to resolve the issue: 1. Restart your Fire TV Stick. 2.Use the power cord or adapter included with your device to plug the Fire TV device. This ensures Fire TV has access to enough power. 3. Unplug your Fire TV Stick and plug it back. 4. Let the device sit for 25 min (turned on) or until the screen changes. 5. If possible, try with and without an HDMI adapter or extender. 6. Make sure that you're using a high-speed HDMI cable. 7. Try using a different HDMI port. 8. For HDMI hubs, try plugging the Fire TV device directly into the TV. 9. Confirm that your TV is HDCP-compliant. Review the video-cable section of the TV owner's manual. 10. If possible try using a different TV. 11. Try using fresh batteries on your Fire TV Remote. 12. Press and hold the home button on the remote for 10 seconds.     I bought the fire stick and went home to hook it up and it was not working at all. Remote didn’t work nothing. Very upsetting because I drove a little ways and for nothing because didn’t work. I am going to bring it back and hopefully this problem will be resolved

    A lot although I have good internet service the system locks up and goes back to the main menu very often after looking it up it seems many others have had this same issue

    I upgraded for the quick access buttons on the remote but it's always giving me issues. A lot of apps don't load properly way too often. I should have just kept my old ones.
