This is a great and lot cheaper addition to out Dish Network set-up. Wanted to expand it to our guest room and this is a way easier and cheaper way to do it over buying another Joey and having to pay for it monthly along with the Dish bill. It works just like the Dish receiver and you can even access recording on your Hopper

I paid 99 for my first Amazon Fire TV and it still works but the early sticks left much to be desired. This 4K Firestick however works much better and compares to the more expensive Cube only it has much less storage capacity. I also like the new remote which pairs faster and controls TV volume and power. Overall the best streaming device for the money!

My smart tv got brain damage and it wouldn’t connect to my wifi. I bought the fire stick so that I can connect to the wifi, which allows me to stream the apps I usually do. One of the features that I didn’t have with my smart tv was voice control. I have it with the fire stick.

So much easier and faster. Love the voice command as well.

We live our fire stick. We have enjoyed over a year of use and haven't regretted it. We use to have our streaming services on our old Blu-ray player, but this is much more convenient. There are some services that don't work in it, like Vudu, but you can side load it if you can figure it out. Great way to stream.

The new remote on the Firestick 4K is a welcome upgrade. I can now get rid of my other two remotes and just use this one. Streaming quality and response has definitely improved.

I really enjoy using my firestick. Easy to use. Easy to setup, Works awsome with my Amazon account, stream movies, music, plus the ability to see your photos as a Screensaver when the TV is idle. Plus with the Alexa feature, makes it very helpful to locate programming or select music, etc. Two thumbs up

This was a snap to install. Once plugged into the HDMI port on my TV, the fire stick walked me through the set up process step by step. It made the use of the TV remote no longer a requirement and I am doing well navigating the various options available to me as a Prime member. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product allowing me to "cut the cable".

Absolutely love this Firestick. I bought this as a temporary replacement for my old obsolete AppleTV. Was always planning to get another AppleTV someday, and this would just be a temporary solution. But, I see now reason to spend $179 on an AppLeTV now. It can do pretty close to everything the AppleTV does

Despite the advantages of smart TV I still prefer the Firestick for ease of use. I has never disappointed me and is far easier to use than some of the TV remotes. The only drawback is without a universal remote this becomes a second unit. For me the ease of use makes that not a problem.

Needed to purchase this for working the Hulu Live better, as suggested by them. Picked this model (new) due to the power button and the fact that it would automatically change to the proper "source" or "imput" where connected into the TV. Easy to set up, it walked me through the steps. I have a 3 yr old Sony Bravia TV.

It's great to use many apps, but some cable cutter apps require too much from this limited stick. Amazon video and netflix work well with this stick, but things like DirecTV Now and HBO Now suffer a great deal with stuttering and loss of sound (even when plugged in with a hardline, not wireless). AppleTV or roku work better for these. But if you want cheap, this works. PS. There is also a problem with a black screen, can be fixed by setting you HDMI pixel setting (720p, 1080p, etc) after removing the HDMI adapter.

I love that they have updated the buttons on the remote, and I think they did a good job choosing streaming services that a lot of people currently have. This is almost much plug and play, just a little bit of set up required. I will say that the new FireTV interface is not as easy to navigate as the one prior. The sponsored content is annoying and settings and search a little harder to get to. But overall this functions as expected and provides the gateway to all of my streaming content.
