The 4k Firetv device. Fast, affordable with great software. The remote is a joy to use, allowing cec control of old devices. The new remote control has the addition of voice recognition and volume control, that makes the best simple remote experience I tried so far. The speed is amazing, just at the level of the Chromecast (both base on android), the best device I have tried so far. Unlimited addition of apps (for as long as you have memory), optional ethernet adapter, and the possibility ofsideloading non amazon approved google apps (firetv os is a proprietary locked down version of android) give the user plenty of playful options. negatives, well, it will not support as many video and audio standards as the Chromecast or the Nvidia Shield, and the rendering accuracy, amazing for $50, has some visual issues compared to other solutions, much more expensive options

I was able to purchase the best Fire TV stick at price of regular. Works great, easy to use. Set up was a breeze as the app recognized the info for the Fire Stick that finally died after years...so it asked if I wanted all the same settings/apps etc... and DONE!

Even if you have a TV that isn't 4k, this little gem is faster than the 1080 version and really offers a lot. I can watch Disney, Peacock, Amazon, Hulu, Crackle, Pluto, YouTube, and others along with a web browser on any TV with an HDMI port. Having it support Bluetooth headphones is a bonus - and it even has an app for my Nord VPN! I really like the remote because it's Bluetooth (not IR) and it's CR2032 battery lasts way longer than any AAA or AA remote.

The Amazon Fire Stick 4k with Alexa Voice Remote, Streaming Media Player is an amazing device. I love the ability to add all of my apps to it such as HBOMax, Showtime, Apple TV, HULU and Amazon Prime. I've also downloaded the Xfinity Streaming App Beta which negates the need for an Xfinity DTA. It can also record TV shows from Xfinity (although the movies are saved to your Xfinity DVR. For the money, this is an incredible piece of technology and at a great price!

I bought this because my chromecast wouldn’t contect to my phone the majority of the time (not necessarily the fault of the chromecast, it was 5 years old and the updates really slowed it down). I hadn’t used one of these before, but I figured I’d try it and if I didn’t like it, then I’d return it. But I fell in love! I don’t have to use my phone or constantly log into apps. It has any app I could ever want and I can stream amazon prime. I’m considering getting one for the tv in my bedroom now!

Operates exactly as expected. Very simple set-up. I've been streaming for several weeks & have had no problems. I was able to add 2 less popular streaming services I watch easily. I also stream Xfinity regular program via their app and it's worked very well. I'm able to watch my "non-smart" tv, again!

The good: Easy set up, works seamlessly, 4K picture is great. The voice control works well. The Bad: Unlike Roku, this device is not platform agnostic. Instead, it pushes Amazon prime selections fairly hard. If you have an IR Harmony universal remote, the best you can do is to create an activity (I named mine FireStick) so that the inputs on the TV or Receiver are setup to access the signal. Then you will need to switch back to the included remote which controls the stick by Bluetooth. The only way around this, so as to eliminate the remote is to purchase the new Harmony which can use both IR and Bluetooth. The downside is that Harmony does not include a microphone on these remotes (but you can use Alexa). They do have a voice operated remote, but it seems the best of both worlds would be to have a remote that can be used like most others with the option of a microphone for those areas where voice will work.

The new buttons make it so much easier. Love the price and the quality of the firestick

I already owned two Fire Sticks in my home which were both ordered directly from Amazon, but I wanted a third. Rather than wait for one to ship to me, I decided to visit Best Buy and I'm so glad that I did because the one I bought at Best Buy was the 4K Edition! It's menu layout was fresh and fast! Along with being able to stream from so many different apps, the picture quality (although my TV is not a 4K model) is AMAZING! Had I bought another one online, I probably would not have gotten the 4K Edition. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

The newly updated amazon Firestick is another step up in what’s always been reviewed as a great streaming device. Being able to view movies and tv shows in 4K is great, the new volume controls on the included remote is a nice addition as well There’s nothing that I’ve been able to find to give a negative review on this device EVERYTHING IS GREAT!! Also it’s a perfect device to install 3rd party apps onto, like KODI, and other streaming services that will allow you to view “a lot more than the regular pay for service streaming sites”

The purchasing experience was simply magnificent. It was easy to find what I wanted on the website. I already have a couple of these Fire Sticks, so my expectations were high for this 4k version. I was not disappointed. The setup was easy as usual and super fast. Upgrading to the 4k was definitely a plus. The difference is very noticeable between the original Fire Stick and the 4k. I would most definitely recommend spending the extra money to get the 4k version. It is very much worth it.

I bought this to simply get HBONOW app for Game of Thrones so I could watch on my 60inch SONY ... My SONY smart TV did not allow me to get that app ... This FIRESTICK is so fast that I use it for ALL my streaming needs from youtube to NETFLIX ... My smart tv was always freezing up ... I would have bought this 2 years ago had i known.. I have the latest 4K model and it is excellent! Highly recommend .. I got mine on sale for $39.99 the best $39.99 I have spent in years! Buy this if your smart TV is slow or freezes when streaming!

I have the 4K Max in the living room, I have the regular Fire TV Stick 4K in my room and honestly, it’s still a great option. The colors pop, it runs smooth, and it made my old TV feel brand new. The Dolby Vision makes everything look sharper and more vibrant. The only thing is sometimes the menu pushes Amazon shows up front, but I just scroll past that.

This is almost a staple for any home entertainment system. If you don't have a smart TV, this little guy is the way to go (if you don't need to record anything). Easy to install and use, Alexa gets smarter the more you use her, and it's got all of the apps you would need to keep the entertainment going. It's been a year since I've started using it and it's still going strong with no issues.

Pro, 1. If your your TV isn't a Smart TV this will make it one as long as you have HDMI ports on your TV. 2. Works with most receivers and will pass through the ARC return. 3. Supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. 4. I got it in sale so the price wasn't all that bad. 5. The remote cintrol is better than the original 1080p HD version. 6. Up to 4gb of app storage for adding channels and games. Cons, 1. Most modern TVs are smart TVs so this device generally won't add anything new. 2. Harder to use than Roku. 3. At MSRP it's not worth it. 4. Need WIFI to use this device. No ethernet support. 5. It's also requires a USB plug to power it and not all TVs with USBs supply enough juice to power it.

Amazon Fire Stick 4K.....is AMAZING!! I’m thrilled that I finally purchased this. Now I finally understand what all the hype was all about! It’s easy to install and only 50$. If u have a receiver that has HDMI....u can plug the FireStick into that....so u can still get a home theater sound. That’s what I did. It’s a GREAT product. I definitely recommend buying. You won’t be disappointed!!

Best 4K streaming device. Easy to setup and the quality is pretty good. Remote is great with Alexa.
