Now has Atmos and is able to control volume on receiver and turn on TV. Only wish it could change input on receiver. Seems faster than the prior versions. Well worth the Black Friday price of $35

Just as good as a smart TV

I recommend the Amazon Fire Stick to anyone without a smart TV who wants to stream! And, it works with our Alexa.

Cool remote though!

Android based device, so you can sideload applications if need be after tweaking some settings and installing specific software. Get this even if you only have a 1080P TV for futureproofing.

4K or no 4K this is the device

Even though this is a 4K streaming device, he only uses it for non 4k tv for now. H will upgrade later. My brother has his tv on the wall and he thought there will be no room. But it works fine and he was able to connect it.
