Awesome purchase! I had 2 TV stick that obviously old & outdated. It took forever to pull u a show & when it started would sometimes freeze which is opposite from any TV experience I was totally use to. The new ones are fast & the picture appears clearer.

Love love love. I've purchased 10+ of these for speakers throughout my and my families homes. The quality of excellent, it works extremely well, and connects easily to Alexa home theatre for amazing bass and surround sound.

I’m very pleased with the performance and simplicity of this streaming device. The voice remote is great, though I wish it could control other devices. I have Dish as my TV provider and the Dish app lets me stream all my recorded shows and live TV to this stick. I’m using it on a TV that was very hard to get a cable to, now I don’t need to! The stick also worked off the USB port on the TV, so the only wire is the power cord (some TV don’t provide enough power).

For those who don’t have TVs with built in streaming, this is an inexpensive way to get that plus wireless wi-fi. Plug the receiver into a USB connection on the TV and start streaming. The remote installation process is slmple and if you struggle there are You Tube videos that can walk you trough. The remote is programmed to accept voice commands. The remote works with 4K, 1080 and 720 resolution. Easy to use with excellent versatility and a great price at $24.99.

I have owned both 1st and 2nd Firestick, and both Fire TV's. This is definitely faster and the remote is great. I love the On/Off button and the volume control .

My uncle swears by this thing! Everytime I go to his house he's always showing me the latest and he's in his late 60s. My last visit had me convinced. He had several apps downloaded, and watching movies I hadn't seen yet. I had to give it a whirl. I purchased both versions the 4k and the standard version. Took no time to connect/install. The software updated itself. Was watching movies in less than 45 minutes of opening the box. Worth it!

I have an older smart TV which has just a few apps, and no provision for adding apps that aren't in its limited database. This firestick solved that problem nicely, and I now have a huge range of free programs, news, movies, etc. This would be an excellent addition for a non-smart TV, as long as it has an available HDMI input, though the 4K version is probably more horsepower than needed. The biggest drawback is that, unlike my cable provider, I can't look ahead several days and find future programs, nor can I record programs which are running when I'm away. If there's a way to do that, instructions as well as links to device(s) needed should be supplied with the firestick. I like how all the equipment can be linked to turn on when I turn on the firestick.

I am amazed at how simple it was to setup. And it provides great quality streaming. Its a bonus that I can control TV/soundbar volume using the remote and also turn off TV using this. (since my TV remote is broken). Wierdly, the TV control stopped working one fine day and I could not make it to work. A few days later TV control started working again. I wonder if amazon installed some update that fixed it.

I have had lightning fast internet for a couple years via Charter; however, my streaming options were either Chromcastwer (sucks) or my Sony ($40) Blueray player with loaded software: YouTube, Netflix, etc. My wireless router went out recently so I bought the latest Netgear 2/5g router. I started having buffering issues. The router - through the Sony Bluray - would not find the 5G side of the router. So, my buddy suggested Apple TV because my house is 95 % Apple: iMac, iPad, iPhones. My pastor's son is an IT genius, he said forget Apple TV in spite of the fact that he's totally Apple. I finally read enough reviews that I determined that between a newer DVD/Blueray player with streaming, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Firestick4K, I had to try the Firestix. For only $35 online with store pick up, what did I have to lose? Compared to all of the more expensive options with shaky reviews. I can tell you the Firestix was easy to set up (mere minutes), it's fast as lightning, it found my 5g side of the router first try, and is crystal clear with a 4k output. This is MORE than a good choice for streaming.

We have tried other smart devices however, once we used the Amazon, Firestick we finally understood the love of the "App TV" experience. Amazon has taken this a step further with their new Firestick by updating their software making it 4K compatible, adding volume keys for ease of use. That is right on e less remote you have to keep track of. We enjoyed this new Firestick so much we have already purchased a second. What are you waiting for, go get yours.

This new 4K Fire TV stick was purchased to replace a first generation Fire TV stick. The first gen stick had become very slow and so when these went on sale at Best Buy, I quickly snatched one up in the hope it could speedily handle current streaming requirements. I was not disappointed. It is very fast and smooth. Picture quality, being 4K on certain streams, is superior -- sharp and clear. I use it on a daily basis and would recommend it without reservation.

Ive bought several Amazon 4k Ultra Firesticks for my family and friends.They make great gifts and the picture is in a beautiful format.The Alexa voice remote makes looking up or searching for movies totally headache free..The kids learned to operate the firestick quickly and are able to play games and watch videos all in one place!# i totally recommend one..

Absolutely love it! Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney +, HBO MAX even has Apple TV built in so you can trash any old Apple tvs you may have! ( yes it will play from your OWNED Apple TV movie library as well. Hookup is simple and you can talk to it through the remote as well.
