The Amazon Firestick allows to access both local and other networks without a huge monthly charge. It is easy to use.

I can use to turn any TV into a smart tv and access all my normal channels with the addition of new apps. Great buy.

Now we have this for our non-smart plasma Samsung TV, as we are planning to cut the cable a bit and try Sling.

It does have a 1 up over the Apple TV as you can log into hotel internet easier with this.

Really Like this Fire TV Stick

I connected the device to an HDMI port on my Yamaha receiver. Everything worked well straight from the box. A few software updates and I've had no issues. I'm not a fan of the menu which is why I gave it only 4 stars. I can't rate Alexa as I don't use it.
