I went this based on personal preference. What I like better in Roku: 1. The menu navigation.Roku is simple and easy. 2. Listening through headphones wirelessly through phone app (helpful when you don't want to disturb others) 3. Google home integration if you care What I like in Firestick: 1. I consume few contents from browser and Silk browser is a great plus for me 2. Side loading apps is there for advanced users. Also ability to use Kodi, IP tv etc. 3. Alexa integration if that matters

I found free movies that I had completely forgotten about. Great for the price and easy to install

I had to purchase a hdmi cord with male female ends. They do make a swivel hdmi , but its almost 20 dollars. BestBuy should inform customers of this issue. Other than this flaw , it works great .

Hardest part was getting the battery compartment open.
