Can’t call it great until they fix the bugs

It works very well with the Fire TV Recast. I have an older version of the Fire TV 4K that has worked flawlessly for the past couple of years. This new version has been a disappointment. The voice can get out of sync with the picture, requiring a restart to fix. The unit will blackout requiring removal of the ac power adapter and the use of a usb power port. The use of the usb power port will not allow for firmware updates. All I can hope for is that future firmware updates will fixes these issues. Until then save your money and wait for a better unit.

Amazon Firestick has come a long way

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned every single variant of the firestick and fire tv that was sold, which the exception of the fire cube, and I would have to say firestick 4K is the only one that hasn’t disappointed me. All the other models I had owned were sluggish from the get go. This one is super fast, almost as fast as the 4 times more expensive shield. The only problem with it is the storage capacity. I mean how cheap is amazon to not add an additional 8gb of storage which would make a world of difference
