New use for Firestick

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an LG TV which has always had problems with the network card for the WIFI to get IP TV, Well, the network card finally quit working totally. A replacement card was not all that appealing since the performance was so spotty. So, I got a firestick, plugged it into an HDMI port and presto, The WIFI is present and works much better than the allegedly "smart" TV (pun intended) with a poor network card.
