With Roku prices seemingly out of hand we were long ready for an alternative. This is in no way an alternative. It is quick, feature packed and works great. We use it more than the Roku. Great price point! Great features! No regrets!

My old Fire stick constantly drops out! and its slow at times. This one is much faster even on a regular HD tv. And its very convenient to not have to type anything! Just press the button and Alexa goes where you say!

The new 4K fire stick is a great iteration of the popular device. The volume remote is a great feature which helps to cut down on “remote clutter” if you have a sound bar. Love that 4K is beginning to take a front seat in home theater.

It works great much faster than the 2nd generation fire stick. I love the fact that the volume button is on the fire stick is way better than using 2 remotes. I also love the fact that it has a power button that also turns the TV off .

You can’t go wrong with a 4K fire stick, and at half price that’s a no brainer. It’s not the fastest device but for what your paying it’s pretty fast and you don’t need much knowledge to be up and running with free apps like Pluto, tubi, crackle, freevee, then free section on vudu and more. Plus music from pandora and games too. It’s a cheap solution for an all in one entertainment stick from a well known name.

Plug in to an HDMI port on the tv. Let it find you network, add password and start using. Hold the microphone button and say a title of a tv show or song and it finds it on Netflix, prime or other service. Select it and play. Easy!

What can I say? It simple works and is a spap to set up. I installed one on all of my TV's that don't have Smart features build in and now all my TV's stream beautifully. I even get an upgrade in picture quality.

    Fire Stick A good buy

Device is easy to install in a HDMI port on the TV. As a stick that is inserted in the back of the TV it may not easily receive WiFi signals. Comes with an extension cable, about six inch in length, which we used on our downstairs TV. The router is on the third floor and the extension improved signal reception. The remote works well and reactions are immediate. Fire TV also is a full service app and the memory on the stick permits installation of many apps for Fire 'TV. Price is very reasonable.

It’s hard not to like this more than my smart TVs. I have 2 smart TVs, so I got this for my non- smart TVs. I hate to admit this, but I love the remotes, and the ease of navigating through apps better. Easy set-up as well.

Easy to use and navigate. I subscribed to Discovery+ and HBO Max so this was perfect for it. I have it hooked up to my 55” 4K UHD television and works great! Streams in 4K pretty well!

Paired a few of these with the Fire TV recast and DirecTV Now. Now have all tv's complete with volume and power controls via the FireTV stick remote, The 4K version is worth the price premium for the remote alone. It works with other av equipment too (Does not work directly with My Optoma projector though, but I was able to work around that issue with the HDMI CEC settings). No more need for a universal remote. This does it all.

Netflix let me know that they couldn’t update my Samsung smart TV. Have had the TV for many years. Bought the fire stick and problem resolved. Purchased at a great price. Should have bought 2 since I have a 2nd TV.

I could never accept that 4k streaming could be so easy, compact and portable. Kudos to the Amazon team, it recognizes my receiver, TV almost replaced all remotes I would need with this sleek little one.

Our house is on fire (sticks)

We have multiple fire sticks in our house. Depending upon our wifi signal strength, we have also added the ethernet adapter to reduce buffering, and we are pleased it is a rare occurrence on any of ours. We have several apps we run on each fire stick, and we wish they had extra storage, as I never envisioned we would have a few free apps, as well as paid ones. Maybe the next generation will add this. The 4k stick runs on my 4k TV, as well as my HD TVs. I would rate these devices at least 4.5. Watch for sales on these. They seem to vary from $25-$50. The new fire stick lite is selling at $18, but you give up having TV controls on its remote, as well not providing 4k quality.

Takes a little getting used to, but for the $40 price tag and a modest $50/mo YouTubeTV subscription I am now officially done with cable (in my case Google Fiber TV)...and saving $50/month in the process.

Easy to hook up and set up. Also easy to add more apps/apks. The new remote is quite an improvement over the old with on/off function and volume control. The 4k ready device with improved processor is also a plus.
